Course Curriculum Overview

4

I took internet of things course I'm my btech I like this concept of internet of things And I am very interested in doing some projects and research on it Regarding the curriculum there aren't much topics, subjects related to the real time applications But we can manage on some of the subjects being taught to us I suggest the faculty to improve on their teaching methods and not to mug up the topics and teach us In the semester exam we have around 3 hours to write the paper which is a great amount of time the difficulty level of the paper is medium and I like the way they cover all the topics of the course curriculum and I enjoy writing the exam paper And in between of the semesters we have mid exams we are very helpful for the semester exams as we cover topics in curriculum before the semester exam it is a very good way to write the mid exams we have about 1:30 hours to write the mid paper which is a good amount of time and I find it very good to write the paper

Placement Experience

3

I'm my college the placements start from 3-1 If the student is good in the subject but maximum the placements start from 3-2 The placements here are in good number and the average package is 3-4 lpa which not that considerable The companies which visit our college are accenture and some other companies I don't remember them exactly but company number visiting us is good They take around 60-70 students per company and offer around 1-2 offers the highest paid offer was 21lpa from Accenture and average is around 4 lpa from the companies A fair amount of students get into the campus placement drives around 50% for course get eligibility for the drives My plans after getting the degree is to place in an iot based company and work with expertise and gain some experience and I want to establish my own company with my ideas and plans with the financial stability I will have at that time and succeed in life

Fees and Financial Aid

So my yearly fee comes around - 115000 I get a scholarship under EWS category -30000 So I pay -85000 per year The admission fee-10000 in the first year Lab fee -10000 which includes in the tuition fee For management students they pay around -150000 per year

Campus Life

5

We have many events in our college The social life in our college is very good and it is one the best aspects of our college we have various programs and events in our college, we have two major events in our college they are akshara and vishesh the akshara is a three day event which is both technical and non technical event it is a 3 day event which is full of fun and various activities And vishesh is a project expo based on our ideas it is a 2 day experiment expo which is a big collection of projects presented in our college and it is very good to see different ideas being presented on that day Akshara is held in the month of March and vishesh is held in the month of September to October month range Here in our college we have good library facilities and a good collection of books for our personal development and based on our course curriculum we have a computer operated lab which is used for elibrary and Research based work

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel facility is very good here and I love it here in my hostel I have good no of facilities we have a bed and a seperate bathroom Also we have a wardrobe for our things to keep Here in our hostel the food is very great and the menu is very systematic and nutritious The quality of the food is very good and hygenious and it is very tasty The menu here is very good The registeration process is very simply, we have to entry our name and details and pay the hostel fee in advance of certain amount The hostel is very affordable and the fee structure is good in here

Admission

Basically I gave an exam called EAMCET which is a scholarship exam for the btech entry into colleges I secured 31,892 rank in that exam and according to the rank I have achieved I opted around 30 colleges and all of them were good as of my knowledge and I have opted this college as my first priority because it was comparatively good from others colleges for my rank I got rejected from the top EAMCET colleges because I don't meet the rank criteria for that respective college and due to the reservation system It was very difficult for me but thank God I got into a considerably good college

Faculty

3

In my college the faculty to student ratio is 20:1 it is a good number the relation between us is very healthy although there are some faculty who doesn't care about students and approach or guide them for things So far I like my Data structures, dbms subject professor Ankitha ma'am because she does everything to teach us the subject and listens to us very carefully and gives us suggestions and clarity over things And I also like prasad sir who is our java language professor He has some exceptional skill of teaching us the subject and I don't get bored while I'm in his class he is very approachable if we have any doubts or ideas related to projects he guided us very nicely and motivated us to do various projects Mid exams are very easy to pass and score We have around 5-6 subjects every semister The difficulty is medium for passing the exams The exam paper can be attempted if we read the topics and have knowledge on it Around 300-400 students fail in atleast one exam The course curriculum is not that much relevant but there are some subjects which are based on the course

Night Life

5

The night life here in our area is very good and it one of the best aspects in my life and I had some of the best quality time here We have various hangout spots in our area for chilling and we gather and talk about the day experience we had in our college and joke about it We have various cafeterias and pubic view points where we can go and chillout The timings here for in our are very strict in the hostels. We go to college at 9:15 and return around 4:00 to our hostels and from then the timings are in our favour

Course Curriculum Overview:

It has regulations which is very comprehensive in covering the theoretical and fundamental concept or aspects of the engineering subjects. It includes strong core foundation in math, phy and very imp programming languages i.e core subjects. It has a guaranteed university recogniton like JNTUH. It should be improved in the teaching methords and conduct more workshops so that it'll be a practical experience for students to learn best. Jntu correction scheme is very strict.

Placement Experience:

During 3-1 , we get only one internship i.e JPMC offering 75,000 per month which is of 3-month internship. Thhis year it took around 16 students. through coding round, hire vue interview and the hackathon process. I was selected to hackathon but sadly due to communication skills lack, I was not selected as intern , although I passed coding round, hire vue interview and entered hackathon. From 4-1 onwards we get placement oppurtunities like Deloitte, Chubb, oracle, DE Shaw, etc companies visit and offer good package only.

The best part of the college is its placement of the college. Almost all companies visit the campus, including Google, Microsoft, Adobe, and almost all. The average percentage of the college is around 85 percent. In Chemical engineering, the placement is a little bit, it's around 90 percent. I'm planning for placements on the Software side.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is accurate and relevant as well. This helps the students to have good knowledge and grip on current scenarios, and it also helps to survive and get placement.Tge frequency of the exams is 45 or 50 days each. And it is not so difficult because the faculty teach in a proper and understandable way in which the students can understand and attempt the exams . Coming to teaching methods, every class is having a smart screen and projector as well for better understanding.
