The college devices new and innovative ways of looting money from the students. They are even ready to risk the careers of the innocent students just for money. They have extraordinary expensive exam and tuition fees.
Course Curriculum Overview
Although the teaching was not up to the mark but the course curriculum was good and if had taught with efficiency, it could have proved to be beneficiary for the students. Although an easy way access to study material still does not exist in my college.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, My college did provide an Internship. The internship part was the standalone reason that I thank my college for. I over all had a very rich experience in terms of knowledge and skills during the internship. My batch was the pilot batch hence we faces certain issues. Also we didn’t get any stipend even after working for 4 months.
Placement Experience
Only few big companies came for recruitment with only few openings. The highest package went till only 5-6 lpa. This was really not good on the college’s part as the amount they took from students as fees was really high. I feel sorry for the students who tool loan for studying in this college and got a minimum salary package. Nearly zero ROI.
College Events
The only events which took place in our college was the annual cultural fest and the technical departmental fest. Other than that no religious festival was celebrated. Also, the national festivals such as independence day and republic day were cebrated only by the students who got a letter for excelling the academics. Which was totally wrong.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is one of the expensive fee structure in the city. Also the additional exam charges were too high for a student from normal background to pay for. Apart from that fines were also on the expensive side. The hostels were not up to the mark evening after paying so much of money
Fees and Financial Aid
TFWS Is a tuition fee waver scheme which is a really good scheme for the people under BPL. In this scheme the college pays the tuition fee of a student for all the four years. Which I found really helpful dor the deserving students who could not afford this kind of education.
Campus Life
In extracurricular activity we had only one cultural fest and one technical fest. One fare well party dor the final year students and one freshers party for the first year students. Labs need renovations and new equipments. Sports office is always shut down. We don’t even know the sports incharge of the college.
Hostel Facilities
Didn’t go to a hostel. I was a localite. But friends told that the condition was really pathetic and unhygienic. The food was terrible. The money charged for it was extremely not worth it.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni are helpful and the college has recently opened a portal for the alumni. Previously the only way to connect with the alumni was social media and personal contact Or via faculty. Alumni talks were conducted sometimes.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is semester wise. Although they provided enough number of attempts for the students who didn’t pass the subjects in one go. But they charged 1000 per attempt per paper.which was really unnecessary.
Admission
The first step was to give the entrance- IIT-JEE 2014. Then I filled up the dte cap round which allotted college based on your score in the entrance. As I decided to stay in nagpur I put up the College name in the form. And I got the college in the third round.
Faculty
The faculty in our college were mostly recent post graduates (M.TECH) Which did not provide any depth in the way they taught. There were only few highly qualified professors in our college. Also, the major problem with the faculty was the lack of english speaking skill.
