Course Curriculum Overview

As I am in chemical engineering department my course designed so that I can get placement opportunities easily. There are 2 semester exams and 2 tests conducted by the professors in each subject. There are 5 main subjects for each semester with respective labs for each subject and tutorials which includes question practice for the syllabus completed for that subject.

Internships Opportunities

Yes internship is available at VNIT as many companies visit here to took students for summer internship . Companies like ITC , TCS, infosys, Accenture, BPCL , etc . They took students according to their cgpa and project work as they annalize there working skills . They give stipend to summer intern

Placement Experience

The campus placement percentage is around 90% but this year because of recession the placement rate is decreased. The campus placement is provided to the students after 4th year and internship is also given to many students in 3rd year

Campus Life

The infrastructure is very well developed. Every sports is available in the college. Tournament in every sports is also conducted in every 6 months . There is compulsory 2hrs sports period for first year students. Computer lab is provided to the students and can be accessed 24*7 . There are 32 clubs in the college for each field like finance , enterpreneurships, dance , etc

Hostel Facilities

There is one room provided to the 2 students. One bed and study table for each student. Mess food is eatable. Hostel registration is done by academic section of the college fees is 65k for 10 months. The hostel is nearby the classroom complex . Menu is like everyday we have different vegetable and roti , rice , daal is common everyday in lunch and dinner

Admission

The admission process is completed through jossa counselling which is main counselling for students who cleares jee mains competitive exam. The other college I mentioned has small campus area and less educational quality than VNIT that's why I chose VNIT and now pursuing engineering

Faculty

The faculties are nice with communication with the students but some professor are strict . There are 20 faculties in my branch for 2nd semester. There 2 semester exam , one is mid semester and other is end semester, there are 2 tests also conducted between the semester as internal marks

Night Life

There is gym timings for first year it is 6 to 8 am and for seniors it is 6 to 8 pm . The gym is international which has all equipments and a gym trainer is also provided. There is a main cafeteria for all students and a chandu canteen for hostel students. In hostel we have night canteen for each hostel which generally opens at 10 pm and opens till 2 am . Library is also open 24*7 but for the first it is accessible till 8pm only . Hostel intime is 8pm

This college is not that much better than NIT or IIT so choose NIT over this college. It has small campus and less sports facilities that NIT's
