Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

As, I am interested in core branches so I want to get admission in Electrical engineering because due to increase the craze of getting the admission in computer science field student does not prefer core branches due to which we got many opportunities in the core branch and yes it's my dream to be the engineer who helped in developing the technologies not the one who are chasing after a job . My curriculum help to get the knowledge about electrical engineering it's help to get how we get the knowledge which help in technology to the power system and I think that there is changement in the teaching method a little bit that instead of providing more theoretical knowledge they have to provide more practical knowledge and we can get our minor degree so we can also get specialised in the field.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

It doesn't provide intership offer as much but yes if you are so determined toward to your dream job . You had to start preparing for intership from first year along with acads . Many companies such as tata, Infosys, Amazon, Apollo, etc . And afterwards of it you can also apply for off campus internship . As the student of the electrical engineering I got the projects according to my performance and they provide personal assistance of professor for our projects.

Placement Experience

4

If you are in 4 year and you are pursuing your degree you can get the opportunity to appear in a interview. And instead of it you also get the internship offer according to your abilities and skills. Mnc companies such as gold sachs, Amazon, Flipkart, etc. In electrical engineering the highest given this year is 82 lakh and the average package is of 10- 12 lakh . Around 80 - 90 percent got placement and remaining 10 percent are those who want to pursue higher education. I want to pursue higher education and get specialised in my degree. Don't worry about placements because If you work hard no one stops you from getting your dream job.

Fees and Financial Aid

As it is a government institute so the price of tuition fees is as such as the other colleges and I think it is much more than any private colleges but as we say according to the quality of studies provide there is nice other to private colleges and if you are in other categories here you can get many scholarship offer such that the students come under sc/st category get rid from tuition fees and the students of other categories with less than 1 lakh income. Students whose family income is less than 5 lakh get 50 percent off of the tution fees. As you the student of gernal category without reservation it cost you around 10 lakhs for completing your degree including tution fees, other fees , hostel fees. And according to your abilities and your hardwork in college help you to grave your desired placement.

Campus Life

3.5

As a student in the college you can get some mini fest and in the college of Nit Delhi due to the newly established nit there are not so much fest but yes there is annual fest in sports called as zeal help to get the spirit of winning, and yes you get enjoyed in every festival and as told earlier this is new nit and it's construction is still going you get provide the books but not in much ammount and yes you get the journal or other books but not so much. The facilities in classroom are very well , there are smart board and fully furnished classroom with ac and in Nit Delhi there is a craze in sports and there are all sports and it has seprate courts for every game and there are many events organised by club which nourished your knowledge and increase your skills. If you are in any club here you get the knowledge and work which increase the mind and it also added in your cv so if you are in any club you get the knowledge but focus on your academics more.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Nit Delhi doesn't have more hostel so there are 5 girls in each room which we get lack of space but there room are much cleaned and new compared to the hostel of other colleges. You have to pay 18000 per sem for non AC room or 28000 for Ac room you can get the attached bathroom with your room and it is very cleaned and hygienic. There are different payment of mess food . The registration process is online so you don't have to worried about it so much. The meal provide in mess is not good . I personally want to give 3 out 10 for the food . As according to the charge it is too much. As it is a government institute but the mess fees is 3500 per month in which they don't provide any fruits , milk and sprouts

Admission

For the eligibility for pursuing your degree in electrical engineering in nit Delhi you have to gain minimum rank of 30000 in gernal category. You get the admission through jee conduct by nta and nta take the exam of jee main in two level . The two paper had in two months in which you had to get the good score so that you get your dream college. You can get the knowledge of application form , date and fees from official website of jee main , and many other websites. Jee aspirants must have patience and not be nervous in the exam because the paper is not so difficult as you can't do it but proper strategy makes help to get your admission in your desired college.

Faculty

4

The relationship between the faculties and students are depends on the interactions . If the student try to interact with the teacher they provide a good support. I would like the professor who help the students when it's needed and my favourite are Dr. K.T. raju sir and Pankaj mukhija . They don't discriminate the students according to there past performance rather then they encourage them to stick with studies. I would not says that I don't like any professor because there are not such teachers. There are 2 exams in a semester. One is mid sem and other is end sem. Mid sem are of 25 marks and end sem are of 50 marks and the other 25 comes from continuous evaluation and attendance. The students fail if they don't study. If you also study one night before you can easily pass in some subjects

Night Life

3

There are the free gym in the college with a trainer and it is open on the morning and the evening for all students. In this college the entry time in the hostel is 10 pm before they you can hangout anywhere in college. But we have to enter in the college before 7:30 pm because the location is not safe . My college is at Delhi so if you want to hangout you have to go to the nearest metro station which 11 km away from college but there is a bus stand at college at which there are buses to that metro station. Library is good and its very quite and have good connectivity

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university doesn't beat around the bush while deciding the courses. They have picked only the subjects and the curriculum that are suitable for our field and focus on making us future-ready. Some subjects might seem a little fast-paced, but if you are consistent enough, you won't face any problems. It is safe to say that the exams and things taught in most the subjects are same to that of its so there is no lacking behind in that aspect.
