Remarks

For me, this was the best college I could get into. I got admission in Mar Baselios College of Engineering also. But, on the next allotment, I chose SCT over it. I didn't get any rejection from any colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am studying Artificial Intelligence and Machine Language. It is gradually growing up to be a highly resourceful subject of the new age. So I am planning to study deep into the knowledge of AI and ML.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Placement Experience

We get eligible for campus placement from Semester 6. I currently do not have the whole details of the companies that had visited the college. The highest package according to my knowledge is 24lpa. My plan after getting the degree is to be self-sufficient and start a company.

Fees and Financial Aid

44000 per year is my fee. I have paid for 2 years. Two more years to be paid. The other fee category is management, in which the fee structure is over 75000 per year. There are also fees for other college activities.

Campus Life

The annual festival of Sree Chitra Thiruanal College of Engineering and Technology is called the ' CultAway'. The library and classrooms have a good atmosphere overall. There are projectors in each classroom facilitating smart learning using powerpoints and videos.

Faculty

Most faculties are friendly with the students and easily understandable. The ratio is lower compared to the whole campus. But considering a class it is far less lower than the former. Exams are there each month. 2 series exams and a semester exam.

Interview Experience

No, I didn't face any GD or interview related to my admission. I was admitted solely based on the rank I scored in the KEAM exam. I had to write the KEAM exam to be eligible for any college admission, from which the rank would lead us to top colleges.

Night Life

Night life at my college, personally I have not experienced it. During many programs and other things, the college is enjoyable at night. As a day-scholar, my knowledge of hostels are limited. There are some spots near the college that could be termed as a hangout place.

Remarks:

Positive remarks is the college is autonomous because we are directly under the Cochin University of Science and Technology. So the CUSAT name plays a big role in whole Kerala. The certificate has a big value. In case of negative remarks, some works are not doing properly, like small maintenance work and all.

A quick sneak peak to SCT College of Engineering

I acually applied for Emmanuel college vazhichal for the curse of biotechnology andbotany . I got the admission right away but the problem was with the distance. It was difficult for me to travel sucha long distance. I also got admission at LBS college of engineering for IT. But i was not sure of taking a subject which is related to computer si dropped it. A closer look at the hidden gems of campus living

I totally applied only to three colleges. I choose this college because at that time it was in top 11 colleges in kerala. On the trial allotment itself i got merit seat in this college.This college was near to my home district. I didn't get rejected from other two colleges . To get admitted We have to clear keam exam conducted by the kerala government. To have a merit seat one must have comparatively good rank. Seats are also available in management quota and nri.
