Remarks
College has got 'A+' accreditation from NAAC.as well as biomedical departments and some other departments got NBA accreditation.The only negative point about our college is related to hostel facility. But college can't have hostel facility Near to college because of some factors like area ,space for hostel etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is very nice and interesting. It has huge scope in research and development field. You will get to learn a lot and you will definitely enjoy it. As there are no Indian biomedical companies here, so you can have your own startup as your business after graduation. You will be exposing to new technologies which are very interesting.
Internships Opportunities
Yes ,college provides us internships. Stipend depends on the organization where you will be doing internship and at what level at the same organization. I had done internship at Global Hospital, Parel where I didn't get any stipend but I got to learn new interesting things in my field as well as I got to interact with doctors so that I can relate or take help of them in my projects and knowledge.
Placement Experience
Placements are 100%. You will surely get a job through college. You just have to try for all the opportunities. We have one different department of placement cell. They always try to bring best companies for students.
College Events
In our college there are different commeties form different branches n some at national level. They organised there own events or fest Like CSI -computer science engineering ITSA-information technology engineering BMESI and BMSA-biomedical engineering EESA-electormics engineering IEEE ACM Etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees are around 1.5lakhs per year Because they provide best facilities to students. If you blogs to any of the caste other than open category and you have all the certificates of caste you will get scholarships based on it.
Fees and Financial Aid
Schlorship you will get from MAHA-DBT which is schorship given by the government to students who belongs to caste other than open category. Also if you annual income is less than 2.5 lakhs you can apply thought TFWF quota where you have to pay very less fees.
Campus Life
We have separate block for different games known as S-Block. One different Building for games. We have our college teams for sports n other cultural activities which represents our college at different platforms.
Hostel Facilities
College have hostel at Nerul in navi mumbai. So generally students don't prefer for college hostel. They prefer some government hostels near to college or prefer to live as paying guests. Or you can have option of some friends which are OHU and you can live with them by living together by paying rent.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes they are very helpful. We have some contacts of our seniors and alumnies.they help us in job opportunities, internship opportunities, in our projects, etc. We can't have tie-up for our project or as sponsor /guide for our projects in companies though them.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is as same as that of Mumbai university. Because our college comes under Mumbai university. It has semester pattern. Total 8 semesters in whole course of engineering. You will get result of each semester separately
Admission
I had taken admission at VIT offline because I had not applied engineering online by following DTE application procedure. By following DTE procedure there are different CAP Rounds online where you will get college online based on your rank. After that whichever college you would get you have to go and take admission there.
Faculty
Faculties are very helpful, supportive, motivative.they help us in academics as well as introduce to external world in biomedical field for jobs, internships, higher studies, workshops, etc. They uses new technologies to teach students in best way they can try. They have already planed for teaching in whole semester and that will be shared with you as well.
