Likes

College faculties and their teaching ways and the study provided by them is easy and understandable,they also supports us in our hard times and also clear our doubts and behaves like a freind with us making us understand and learn the subject easily
College structure and the facilities provided by college like lab facilities where we have workable computers and all day available labs where we can practice our study or we can understand any concepts which is not clear to us by our own in the labs
In our college every Friday we have some kind of events which is one the best part we enjoyed a lot in that event with our friends not only friends sometimes teachers also joins us to celebrate with us, some big celebrities also come for this events

Dislikes

The washroom in our college are not cleaned properly
Exams are kept on every Monday giving us a hectic week
None of the notices are provided earlier notice only give 1day before any program

Course Curriculum Overview

One of the specific aspect is learning coding The curriculum consider theory as well practical based question which is more helpful No improvement is needed The frequency of exam is good and the exams are not difficult

Placement Experience

From 6 th semester students become eligible for campus placement As I am in 2 nd year I dint have any idea about the companies visited No idea about it but I have heard from seniors that they provided a avg package of 24lpa 90% STDs get placements Getting placed in a well company with good package

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid 4k as my yearly fees And my tution fees is 160000 but as I have reservation of sc category deu to which I have only apud 4k My batchmates have paid fees more than me like some paid 25k and some paid 90k We have mahadbt scholarship provided by our clg

Campus Life

The annual day is held in near january and the technical festa held at every Friday in our clg A lot of books of available in the library The classrooms have a great technical facilities like a well and workable educomp and a mike also for the teachers Sports and other curriculum activities are also done at good scale Yes we have a student council in where the students promote our college at a different level

Admission

Actually I am seeking for sardar vallabhbhai patel college after my diploma but unfortunately I got VIT but it is not worse is also a good clg Yes I get rejected by other clg due to my percentage Admission process was based on our diploma marks and the cutoffs were 94-95 in other higher clgs

Faculty

The faculties in our clg have a great relation with the students they have 10:10 relation with us Bhanu tekwani is the most favourite faculty becoz she understands our situation and help us No hate for any faculty coz all have their own priority We have mse1-2 and a ese all the exams are easy and curriculum based only 95% students clear the exams

Night Life

We have a more than 2 cafeterias in our college which is a good thing due to which we get place to hangout Hostel is not present in our college Inside the college we have a great ground and a games plazia where we can play games and hangout with the frds

Honest review if you wanna opt for this college

Likes

The girls to boy ratios is good, we get to see all girls equal contributing in the college
The faculty is good, they are very helpful and give good guidance
The boys and girls common room is good to get together with friends to chill and study

Dislikes

Faculty being good they are sassy and might ignore for a time to teach you that not everything will be entertained
The principal is kinda rude and his speech is too long
Well other activities like sports isn't support properly

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible for placement Companies visited are tcs and few others i don't remember their names The average package is 5 lpa and the highest is 13 lpa Mostly 80-90% of students gets placement as they do a placement training for us amd prepares us for the placement exams and interviews and all My personal plan is to go abroad for higher studies but i am going to sit for placement if i get good package then i might not go to abroad for higher studies

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Likes

I really liked the infrastructure of the college its very nice and has good environment .
DPCOE is famous for its sports , it has massive turf where kids of 4 to 5 age has their matches
Also i like my department , as i am an automobile engineering we need most practical knowledge , this college offers a big workshop just for us an also yearly event for automobile students . Also clubs are there which has reputation of national rank

Dislikes

I kind of felt that faculty can be biased sometimes also do not care what and how we want to study .
Watchman can be little rude sometimes , also informing that their are exam coming in next week are to be informed at leat 10 days before. I have a suggestion of preparing acadamic calender of year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Campus is huge and there is to much space for walk and greenari
Affordable price in cantin same we eat outside.
Not that much strict environment than many of the college.

Dislikes

Campus is huge but is mostly empty need of development.
Need of infrastructure and sports facility for students.
Need of contact no. Of emergency contact of the staff.

Placement Experience:

I talk with most of the senior and faculty and placement cell start of 3 rd year you will get internship opportunities and and in 4 th year you will get placement opportunity. But senior told me off campus placement preparation must be go on you will find good opportunity. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa is good for freshers.

my college is in rural division so i liked the nature and environment of the college most and the college is have rural position and college have bus facility so all the student from poor family are is admitted in this college
my college have bus facility for the students
college have good campus in rural area and the college is good

Dislikes

college have no placement for the students
college having some times electricity short
college have some students water issue for drinking

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

Hello, The infrastructure of the college is top class.
Their are multiple events in the college every month.
The faculty of the college are also well experienced as well as very friendly.

Dislikes

There are no AC in all the class only some of the class have AC

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage in my college is nearly 70-80%. The minimum package offered is 2.5 LPA and the highest is nearly 33 LPA . The average package is 4-5 LPA. Many companies vists are college as our college is NAAC accredited which has a grade of A+.

I have applied for parul university, Sanjivani university, K.K.Wagh college of Engineering nashik etc and I have got confirmation for admission from almost all of them but I also applied in CAP rounds so I have got allotted the Vidyalankar institute of technology also so I researched about every college and VIT Mumbai was best in all of them so I took the admission in Vidyalankar institute of technology, yeah also got rejected by D.J.S.C.E for not matching the cutoff or minority. Talking about the admission process I got the admission through CAP round so I have to visit the college as per I have got the batch with all of the documents mentioned on the website of CET CEll with the 2 sets of copies of it and fees accordingly to my Caste when you will complete your admission process they will told you about various scholarships schemes and give you a temporary ID card....Read More

Experience with Admission at Mumbai's Vidyalankar Institute of Technology (VIT) Why I Selected VIT Among Other Universities I took into account a number of charectristics that set Vidyalankar Institute of Technology (VIT) apart from other universities before choosing it.I had also submitted applications to K.J Somaiya College of Engineering, Lokmanya college Koperkhairane, terna college nerul, Indira gandhi college mumbai but VIT hd certain benefit's such as a well-rounded curriculum , state-of -the-art facilities, and a track record of establishing industry ties in VIT curriculum and course offerings are similar to corporate world and as it is a Autonomy college it gives a edge to add extra curricular activities to syllabus and make it a well profound to students and fees compared to KJ Somaiya / DY Patil is also comparatively lesser in Vidyalankar Institute of Technology and if we compared to SPIT college or VJTI my percentile in MHT-CET was 90%ile so i was not sure that if i would get better branches my primarily focus was to get better branches rather than good colleges with lower branches and Alumni connection was also good in VIT which gets a Benefit while sitting for Placements and Internships and its campus is also very huge compared to Lokmanya Tilak College Koperkhairane its infrastructure is far better than that and also has various facilities like Libraries , DEN, for playing football, Cricket another separate ground is there Innovations labs with PCB Printing and various many more things are there in this cllgs which make mee to take it to enjos my Btech journey with flying colours and Events Like VERVE many Celebrities big-big T.V Actors/Actress are also invited to this with beautiful DJ night and many more things which can't be expressed in words rather than coming.....Read More
