Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course is well structured, covering essential topic. Best thing is they teach giving priority to what is best for us to get placement. They more focus on practicals. Their assignments are unique and challenging which have some industrial touch . The exam time is bit less sometime I find it difficult to complete it on time but now as I am used to it , it doesn't really feel like problem now. Difficulty level is moderate.

Internships Opportunities

5

TCS, Wipro, reliance and many other companies provides internship opportunity with stipend. So in many internship you have to work on project as a team or some time assist industrial expert. Some internships are paid and some unpaid.

Placement Experience

5

From sem 6 and sem 7 campus placement start . College provide a campus coordinator to each division. And 1 mentor to 20 student. A student who have no KT in their past exam and is All clear that student is eligible. Average package is 3-4 lpa and highest package was 35lakh/annum. 80% get placed. My plans after getting degree is to study masters

Fees and Financial Aid

Last Year when I was in first year ,I paid 118368 rupees under Reservation category OBC. In which 17000 was development fee and university fee is 768 and rest was Tution fee. They also told that if we don't fill scholarship form then we have to fill the complete fee that is 130737 rs.And this year that is second year I payed 77637 rupees under Reservation category OBC. And total fee is 136638. Development fee was 17739 and 768 rupees university fees. My batchmate who is from ST category has 100% fee waiver scholarship so they just have to pay university fee that is 768. And yes fee keeps increasing every year.

Campus Life

5

Their are many students comitties in our college like Google developer, fintech, ITSA, EESA. In our college their are many technical events are held by this committees like competitions. Their are sports event our college every year in February. Our college students runs many social group and clubs. We also held our college festival every year that is verve vit which is famous on social media. And every festival is celebrated in college as a event. We have grand freshers and farewell parties.

Admission

I am admitted to this college via Cap round. I was looking for getting admitted in Vivekanand college mumbai but as I study about Vidyalankar Institute of Technology, I realised that it is more flexible and doesn't have much academic pressure. And it also used to provide the facility of My Timetable which allow us to create a timetable according to our convinience. I chose this college. I get admitted through my mhtcet marks . Their was no other exam or criteria.

Faculty

5

So every branch has 3 division each and division has 70 student . And 2-3 faculty per subject . The faculty is very supportive and helping. You can visit them any time for your doubts they will never denied you to help you. I personally like our FCHN and COA faculty Ajitkumar Kharchane SIr and our OOPS in java faculty Mandar Sir. And maths faculty Uday Kashish Sir. The exam style is unique that instead of unit 1 and unit 2 . We have system of Monday test. Every Monday their will be a test. In whole semister their will be 2 test per subject and average of it will be consider(mse1 and mse2). Last year it was 3 test and average of best of two was used to consider but it is changed now. And talking about marking system , for theory 20 marks(mse)+ 15(Internal)+40(End semester exam)=75 and passing marks is 30. For practical 50marks are their 25 for ISA and 25 for end practical exam.

After 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placements depending upon their capabilities, staff recomendation, CGPA, and various other factors. Not everyone is provided with placements because 80% of the students prefer studying for masters. Companies like TCS, cipla, abott, and many more pharma companies visit here with average package of 4 lakh per annnum.
