My college experience in SCT

The course curriculum is a bit outdated.The students are required to learn and master courses and skills outside of their curriculum to get placements at good companies.The curriculum can be made some more placement oriented and real life applications.For each semester there is a corresponding semester exam which is of moderate level.

The companies that provide internships include Tata Elxsi,Quest Global,Dell etc.Most of the companies visited are IT related.The companies conduct aptitude test and interviews. The internships provide good stipends too.

From 6th semester students became eligible for placements.Some of the companies visited include Tata Elxsi,Quest Global,Speridian etc.The average pacakge is 6 lpa and highest is 8 lpa.From Cs department most of the students get placed in IT companies.I plan to get a placement on a good company.

For general quota the fees is 58000 per annum.For management the fees is 89000 per annum.For SC/ST students it is 15,000 per annum.The fees amount increased than last year.The caution fees is 10000.Financially backward students has gotten scholarships.

My college conducts many technical fests.The college also has a yearly cultural fest called 'Cult a Way'.We have a basketball court here and competitions for sports like badminton,football are held.We also have many sports club and groups.Our college offers many good platforms for extracurricular activities.

I choose this college since this is the best college i could get into with my rank.The college has good placement history in CS department.The college admission criteria is on the basis of KEAM rank.The highest rank holders in our college are from CS department.

The faculties are good.The tecaging quality varies from teacher to teacher .Some are really good at making us understand concepts.For each semester 2 series exams are conducted and one semester exam is conducted for each sem.The exams are of moderate level.The course curriculum is a bit outdated.

The students are allowed to stay on college campus till 7 pm.The college has a huge library and has different sections for each branches.There is one main canteen and one mini canteen.The college is situated near the roadside. There are good bakeries and restaurants near the college.
