sex ratio is approx 30:70 30 for boys and 70 girls.
The various facilities it provides. and it's so big.

there is not anything particular i disliked
its just that IGNOU students didn't get any respect from others

Course Curriculum Overview

exams have a lot of intervals between them , and the IGNOU site has problems like crashing and not opening. I don't have any relevance and comprehensiveness of the course but I will rate it 7/10.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I am paying 4,500 per year for BCOMF course + 500 additional fee for various things. and this fee is fixed it doesn't increase or decrease. There is an option for a scholarship but I don't know much about it.

Campus Life

this collage does hold fests for various students but not for us IGNOU. and the campus is good and clean others students are also nice unless you are max level introvert you can have a good campus life

Admission

i applied for it because from the start I idolised it and want to study here so I didn't even considered other collages to apply for and the admission took a lot of time but it finally confirmed it took around 3 to 4 months to confirm. and the overall process was smooth and simple

Faculty

you can have your exam either sem-wise or annually depending on you since ignou is very flexible. and the members do not have a particularly well attitude toward us. the water is not fresh and not drinkable and the sex ratio is about 30:70, 30 for boys and vice-versa.

Night Life

i like to go to campus and hang around with my friends and just roam the entire college. and cafeteria is also good and clean . and have a good menu that can satisfy you outside the collages there are a lot options like watching movies to eating places.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the course includes core subjects such as Financial accounts,Bussiness law and Management principles in the first semester and four optional subjects.It is very helpful for carrier paths such as CA and CS.It gives us knowledge in managing our finances.The curriculum can include more practical knowledge.

I would say, the curriculum is also good, like we have labs, and tutorial classes also, in which students get their answers and their doubts are solved. Area of improvement - There should be proper labs of python lecture classes.

The life you should live in college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is thorough and pertinent, in my opinion. I chose this course because it helps me understand real-world business situations by covering both the theoretical and practical aspects of commerce, such as accounting, economics, and business law. The subjects are helpful for both real-world employment and future studies like an MBA or CA. Although the course prepares us well, it could be enhanced by including more hands-on learning opportunities, internships, and professional guest lectures. To make lessons more interesting, teachers can employ more interactive techniques like group discussions and digital resources. Exams are scheduled appropriately, but occasionally the timetable feels constrained and leaves little time for review. The exam is at a moderate level and assesses more than just memorisation; it tests our comprehension of subjects.

The campus placement is fairly good with kpmg, Deloitte, Genpact, Accenture. The average package usually ranges from Rs 5-6 LPA while highest have gone to Rs 23 lakhs in recent years. The placements are bagged by proactive students usually with good communication skills and academic records.

A students insight on his college

Placement Experience:

Eligibility is 5th semester onwards you can get campus placement. Deloitte, TATA, nestle, other big MNC's Highest is around 20 lacs and average is around 5 lacs. 60-70 % students get places but it can be higher or lesser depending upon the crowd of students , their talents. I think I would choose a professional course like civil servant.

Curriculum is old and rigid, the still teach old methods and syllabus is updated very slow. But with introduction of SEC and VAC courses student have some different options which the can choose to study for their semester.

Ignou: Flexibility And Disappointment

I had also applied in DU for B.Sc. (Hons) Statistics but the cutoffs were very high and only a few top colleges offered that course. DU SOL also did not provide B.Sc. courses at that time, so I finally chose IGNOU. The admission process is fully online through the IGNOU website. You need to sign in, upload your Class 10 and 12 marksheets, Aadhaar or other supporting documents, fill personal details, and pay the course fee. For most courses you just need to pass Class 12, but for some courses there is a percentage requirement or specific subjects needed to study in class 12 like in my case maths. My overall admission experience was okay, but the approval process took a long time. In my case, it took almost 3 months to finally get the confirmation of admission....Read More
