Likes

The campus feels an aesthetic vibe and it's simple small structure.It sufficiently provides enough space for every student's and has good staffrooms.Alao washrooms are present in every floor for both boys and girls.
Extra curricular activities are much appreciated in our college.We have a league conducted for badminton, football, cricket etc..SBL,SSL ectc are SCT Super league,SCT badminton league.We also have College teams for all items and events .
The cultural fest of SCT is most popular among kerala trivandrum.The CULT A WAY is a much awaited fest by tvm students and colleges.

Dislikes

Sometimes placements go on a low scale mostly due to industrial effects,not taking freshers.
We don't have a ground and our sports all are conducted at different turfs and other grounds.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our curriculum was a bit old fashioned.But now the syllabus changed to new one - 24 scheme. This one is soo relevant and helpful in terms to get a better job.It includes present day industrial needs and that will help a lot.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements came on a large scale in past years but now it's a bit less that is mainly due to the companies not taking freshers. But overall the placement scale is good based on other colleges in trivandrum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly payment varies for different seat opted students that is merit students will have 50,000 round offly to pay in one year.Management seat students will have to pay around 1,00,000 ruppess per year. Also there are different quotas for OBC,SC,ST etc....Also fee waiver sections are there based on marks and scholarships. College also encourage students to apply for many other scholarships given by government such as E grants etc....and different students recieve them.

Campus Life

Here in this College we have a lot campus life than other colleges in trivandrum.The fest , involvement in sports and other activities, programs conducted in college and all of high varieties.Someone with a desire to get a great college life can come here.

Admission

The admission process in this College was so easy due to friendly volunteers and staffs.We had delay in processing fees and th staff waited so that it gets oke. This College provides more campus life than the college's I applied to.

Faculty

Faculties are much helpful .They are with us for every thing.We are provided with best staff advisors.We have faculties with PhD and great courses did from great institutes.Each branch has associated staffs on a good scale with well known knowledge.

Night Life

We are provided with a well equipped library. But we don't have a college hostel it's under construction only.We haveany other private hostels nearby which have as strict rules as a college hostel . Also students can take private apartments as their wish..

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

Placement Experience:

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

I choose this college because it has vibrant campus life and freedom.It also has good placement records,good pass percentage. I also took due to distance advantage.This college also has good faculty, teaching. Although the campus is small, the infrastructure is well maintained. It has well structured labs.I also looked for cet, Trivandrum but I didn't get it because of my keam rank. The exam accepted for the course is keam and most of the students prefer it. A look inside Sct - Campus life, Academics and more

The main reason I chose this college was because this as under the Government of Kerala. It is held jointly by both government and ksrtc. This the standard of teachers will be better than other private colleges and campus life would be better as well. I have gotten confirmed admission from Amritha University and FISAT. I chose Sct because of the above given reason and also because of its location in trivandrum. I had applied to both Cet and Gect but I didn't pass the cutoff. The admission price for SCTCE is through KEAM which is held by the government of Kerala.
