Awesome option for science students

Overall it's a good college ,teachers are very helping and the only thing I feel is not good is the feasts which is held seperately by seperate department and don't have the involvement of other departments

Courses are available for every field there is ba Ba hons Bcom BSC in computer science, BSC medical BSC non medical Bba Bca Hons is available for selected subjects like physics,English etc And hons subjects are added in second year

No the mcm dav college of Panjab University don't provide any internship to students But there is a placement cell in college There are good job opportunities as well Which are provided by the colleg

There are good option for placements There is a seperate placement cell Teachers guides regularly about the new upcoming opportunities so that one can grab the best they can. They also provide free training for 3 year students of few courses

The main event celebrated in our college is Meraki Which is the biggest feast of Panjab University. There are many other events also as diwali feast and also seperate feast of seperate department Recently there was an event in order of completing 50 years of the college

The fee structure of college is quite feasible like the max of 30000 per year For ba it's like 7-8 k only But the fee of hostel is bit higher which is about 1 lakh per annum due to which The hostel becomes expensive

There is a scholarship exam held every year It has certain criteria and only available for the students who can't afford the fees The fees of hostel is bit higher. But the fees of college is not much and can be afford easily

Labs are well maintained ,there are many labs and all required apparatus are available for eg there are 2 labs for physics 4 for computer and many more There is good opportunity for the students who want to join ncc

Seniors are very helpful and they are available when required they don't showany leadership if we all are involved in some group work. There is not a huge alumni network There are many passed out students who are performing excellent In there respective fields

There is semester examination pattern That is there will be 2 main examination per year. There are also mid semester examination for providing internal marks Internal marks also depends upon the attendance

It's on merit based and we have to fill the form for Panjab University Chandigarh According there will be counciling and colleges will be alloted according to the merit.Then you have to go to the alloted college and complete the admission process

Faculty members are very good and very helpful They are Cooperative as well and There is good ratio of faculty members and students. Faculty members are always available for help if you have any problem
