I love to playing cricket at college play ground. And the college annual tournament was awesome for me
The college library is very suitable for me because everytype of books are here .I love read new books every time when I visit library
The College staffs and profesor are very humble.

My 1st year of college life the seniors are disturbing juniors
College office work is very slow in any kind of work like form fill up or admission
Nothing else for dislike in my college life

Course Curriculum Overview

I tell about my college or university syllabus for us is very good . I learn everytime something new. The University of Burdwan is provided best teachers and proffecors . We have passed a total 6 semester for our 3 year college degree

Class Size: 1800Course Fees: INR 3800 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid total Rs. 15700 in 3year Course including exam fees and other fees. I received scholarship of total amount of Rs.9200 in 3 year. But the college was very cooperative and college staffs are very humble. My bachmets are very friendly. And one thing I have paid total amount of 18000 at my tution fees. College have a Library and garden area, College canteen foods are awesome.

Campus Life

Specially the college was organised two festival or programme . One for welcoming new students is called fresher party and the second one is fairwell for this students who completed the course and passed out from our college . And the programme was most enjofull time in my life

Admission

First of all the college is provided best quality teaching in our area. And College fees is cheap as other colleges. College location is closer than any other colleges from my home. The ground is bigger than other college. And the garden is very beautiful and one thing some times our class arange in open sky in the garden area

Faculty

The faculty members in my college are very helpful. They are helping always everyone is satisfied for there behaviour and helping nature. Evryone want to admit in Purbasthali college of the University of Burdwan

Night Life

Our college is a day college and we have no hostel. But day time the cafeteria was very clean and food is very tasty . They maintain their hygiene. This is best for every students. Campus timing is 9 am to 5 pm

The course curriculum and faculty members are good. I chose this because English is my favourite subject.Also it you study English there are lots of opportunities present here. Student ratio is 100-120 student per department.There are 26 courses available The faculty is very standard.Teaching Method is very good because attendence is strictly followed by our college.One of the reasons teachers are committed to us .They try their level best to teach us in short time.There are projectors also used in our classes.Overall it is satisfactory. Every term exam happens in 6 months. It is very difficult to pass those exams.As our college is under VIDYASAGAR UNIVERSITY,so questions are set by them.Thats why exams are very difficult to pass.

I wanted to explore the CS stream from the beginning so I joined this program. The faculty: student ratio in BA is good and is around 1:7. All the teachers are well equipped and have complete knowledge of the subjects they are teaching. The exams were difficult as compared to the SPPU endsem exams, but that is expected from a college of such repute.

Condition of Law Colleges

I did not apply to other colleges as it is in close proximity. There is only one law college in the district of Purba Bardhaman where I am from. The other law colleges are very far away from my house which would take me 4-5 hours to travel if there is no traffic. Since I didn't apply to other colleges I didn't get any rejection. If considered with other colleges, the studies are more intensive in law colleges under Calcutta University, as the syllabus is more intensive and has more subjects like Land Law which is absent in the curriculum of B.A. LL.B. of Burdwan University. Fees are also very less in government colleges. The fees for one semester in our college are equal to the fees of the entire course fee in a government college. The infrastructure is much better in government colleges with regular moot court competitions and other competitions, clubs, and extracurricular activities.
