My College honest review

I did a bachelor's,s degree course in commerce which has a 3 years duration in which I studied majorly about the subjects related to finance and accounting. This course is affiliated with the University of Kolkata. The whole course has been divided into 3 years with one end year exam at the end of every year.

Talking about the placement, the college lacks that because college does not have any proper placement cell in the college. If anyone wants a good job then they will have to try themselves for the job opportunities and it will be possible if you have done and performed well in your academics.

If I say that the college is good in academics then in the event organizing it is much better because the college has organized many intercollege games and debate competition and have won many prizes in that. Except this college has many other events organized like a farewell, freshers, Durga Puja celebration, Saraswati PUja and many more.

College is very cost-effective in terms of fee structure. The total cost of the BCom course goes around 5 thousand for the first year which is ok according to me as per the course and the faculties present in the college.

The major scholarship program run and supported by the college is the " KANYASHREE" in which the female students of the college who are not married can get the scholarship if their family income is lower than 1.2 lacs in a year. Other than these students also can avail of the scholarship from the different scholarship schemes run by the government.

The college has a zero-tolerance policy for the ragging which makes it ragging free campus along with this college is located in sucha a place that is well connected to other parts of the city and major locations.

College accepts admission in both modes online as well as offline. I applied in offline mode by visiting the college, after visiting the college, I collected the application form from the admission counter and submitted it after filling and signing it duly. College then released the merit list and I got selected in the merit list and so I got admission after submitting the admission fee.
