Course Curriculum Overview

Robotics and artificial intelligence is a subject not everyone grasps , i say this because it is a mixture of mechanical and artificial intelligence courses and the workshop the college conducts are quite useful when you see all the application it offers.

Campus Life

We have annual fest called month-un which is way may popular than other club fests done by students . We even have sports day conducted by the respective club The library is filled with every course books and books and magazines that help for civil services

Admission

I applied for some other colleges like m s Ramaiah,R.V college,uvce,bms,pes and some other colleges I even got admission in vidya vardhaman college of mysore cs branch but I chose banglore due the skills I could learn from here Our college admits the students through kcet,comed-k,jee mains and management quotas

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is quite good as it is 15:1 You will have two internal 1 lab internal s and sem end exam The exams are structured in a way to favour the students as you get more time to prepare and less topics to cover

Night Life

Gym, Cafeteria, and Library Timings: The gym usually closes by 9:00 PM, and cafeterias remain open until 10:30 PM, offering a variety of snacks and beverages for late-night cravings. Libraries often have extended hours during exam season, with some campuses offering a 24/7 reading room facility for students preparing for competitive exams. Public areas, like common lounges or gardens, are accessible until 11:00 PM, providing space for casual gatherings or study sessions. Hostel Timings: Most hostels enforce an entry curfew between 10:30 PM and 11:00 PM for safety reasons. However, late entries are sometimes allowed with prior approval. Hostel common rooms often buzz with activity until midnight, with students engaging in games, music, or group discussions.

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

About my college

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

They start conducting placements activities from the 2nd year itself like AMCAT preparation, skillrack, etc. So the students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem itself. Many companies like TCS, Diggibyte, Zoho,etc. and the offers are from 3 lakh to 16 lakh per annum. Percentage of students getting placements are about 90% My plan is to get into the IT sector as i have an interest to explore and enhance my technical skills

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.

MIT Bengaluru-The College Beyond Exxpectations

Placement Experience:

Students here are eligible for placements or internships right after the 3rd year. Mit Bengaluru is planning to make its students placement merging with its parent clg Mit Manipal. Currently none of the placement record is there as the first batch is in 3rd year only.None of the companies have visited for placement b ut companies like IBM, TCS do come for their talks. I have no plans as of now what will I do after a degree.

An amazing college experience that shaped my future

I applied to several college including R V college of engineering N.I.E college of engineering and Dayanand sagar college of engineering.I received confirmed admission offers from Dayanand college of engineering in the first KCET round but I chose my college that is BIT because of its excellent academic environment and placements opportunity.I applied to this college had a more student freindly atmosphere better industry connection more extra curiculum activities and no ragging in the campus.I did't get RV college because cutoff for my desereved branch was quite high and entrance exam score is below their requirements.The admission process for my college was quit straigth forward.Admission process based on KCET or COMED-k.The process was transparent and well managed.After document verification and fee payment I recevied my official admission order.Overall experience is smooth and hassle free....Read More
