Course Curriculum Overview

3

as my dream is to become a software engineer in ai chatbot i think i have chosen the right path to become it. i think the course should have more practical application than written exam . we need to be ready for industry after the course.

Internships Opportunities

4

internships are good here IBM provides internships here and there are so many startups that provide internships .internships are mainly provided by companies like TCS , wipro with monthly stipend of 5000rs per month.

Placement Experience

3

Placements for my course computer science this college provides good placements with good packages. wipro, amzon,IBM... are some of the famous companies that come here for placements. from every class of 65 students almost 90%get placed somewhere.

Fees and Financial Aid

I applied in this college in NRI quota. so i am paying 125000 rs per annum and a caution deposit of 100000rs. registration fee 1500rs. As i am from ernakulam i am staying in hostel so hostel fees of 6000rs per month. pta fee of college 10000. Then alumini fees of 2500rs. placement cell fees 4500rs. all these above fees are excluded from my tuition fee of 125000rs per annum. I am OBC candidate but as i took NRI here no fee reduction.

Campus Life

3

I think comparing with other colleges our college as the worst campus like as here there are no good programs like cultural wise and here they give importance to academics than social interaction. sports activities are not that good here.

Hostel Facilities

2

Our hostel is provided by college. it is very bad as my roommate got dengue fever from here and food is so bad . some days food are good but saturday night is the worst as we get said dosa and sambar which is sooo badddd.rooms are clean beds are good. toilet facilities are bad.

Admission

I considered many other colleges including gov. model engineering college . i didn't get there because i had low rank so my next best option was cec chengannur. and i successfully attained my seat at this college. admission process in this college was good . it was very interactive and was good.

Faculty

4

Front this year onwards ktu has changed the syllabus for everyone so now we're following a new syllabus which focuses more on the core concepts of our stream. faculties are good with all students they are friendly with all students. our computer teacher reshma ann mathews mam is very good at teaching she is also very friendly with all students. now i have written 2 series exam in which i performed good and 1 semester exam which was tough.

Night Life

3

There is ZERO Night life in our college and no good night life around our campus is not good. no public resting or chilling place in campus.hangout spots are not in college. college library is is cool and silent as it is comparatively good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
