Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum had the most needed subjects and it looked like it covered all the basic requirements for choosing the course. They have updated the curriculum (including artificial intelligence). They are updating the curriculum according to the new education policy. Exams can be made easier in my perspective because many students fail. The curriculum is very use as it provides all the survival kits for the employment world

Internships Opportunities

4

Students are mostly provided internships in the role of sales and marketing as it is the most required role for any company. Big firms like Deloitte and EY provide good stipend for interns. Students can exhibit their talent and get placed as an intern, according to their skill set for their preferred role.

Placement Experience

4

Students starts getting internships from the second year, mostly the firms which hire people for internships make them get placed after they graduate. Also, there will be a summer internship program during the summer holiday days after the second year which is mandatory almost 70 to 80% of the final years get placed either a big firm or a small firm. The minimum requirement for applying for placements is 60 percentage for most of the companies and 75 percentage for few companies. From the fourth semester, students are eligible to planning to pursue MBA after my UG

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for me in a year is ?104000/- for a student from other state than Karnataka. Karnataka students will be paying ?89000/- per year. The application fee was ?1700/- which was to be paid while applying for the college for the specific course. The ?104000/- is inclusive of all fees. They provide scholarships or concessions considering the student's marks/cgpa and attendance percentage. NRI students pay higher amount of fees

Campus Life

4

The most important reason for picking this college was cultural environment and clubs. I am in various clubs where I participate in more events so that I get a lot of connections and exposure which enhances my Skills. The library is very good. It is a great place to study as it is very silent. It has most of the books. This is one of the biggest library I have ever seen. There are two libraries one for the UG students and one for the Pg. The pg library provides even locker facilities for students to keep their Things safely. The infrastructure is so good, has all the labs, all sports facilities and everything.

Admission

So my first preference was this university as many seniors and well wishes suggested me. I also applied for other colleges like St Joseph College of commerce,Bangalore ,Loyola College, Chennai. I had them as a back up. My first priority was obviously this university. Also, I got into this university before my board exam results. As the other colleges I applied required my board exam marks for moving the admission process. There will be an entrance exam examination and an interview in off-line during the interview that I will also be a micro presentation round and an essay writing round. The selection is decided based on the aggregate and not only on a specific round.

Faculty

3

The faculty student ratio is like probably 25:1 which is actually good. Most of the teachers are very friendly and very easy to approach, whereas few teachers are not like that. I had a faculty named KP in my second semester, who taught me human resource management he was so good. Exams are moderate. In a class of 70, 10 to 15 fail in the examination. The course curriculum is relevant and it is designed as per the need.

Night Life

4

This University has a great nightlife experience. It is in the heart of the city which makes easy for students to go to other places. There are bus facilities Metro is yet to come. There are lot of gyms, restaurants, cafes, gaming, Centres around the campus. A cafe called mingos which is located inside the university is very famous. A dish called bun Samosa is also famous in this university. The students can stay in the college up to 9 PM. They can utilise the ground the gym, the library and other places. This provides a great night life actually.
