Course Curriculum Overview

4

Courses are well structured as per the current industry demand and but still there are few subjects in which there are some improvement is needed. Courses have both theoretical and practical classes. Exams are conducted as per the academic calendar schedule and it is very easy to paas the exam.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship opportunities in the college is not good. Many of the students opt off campus for the internship because most of them come for the placement only. But still few companies like Microsoft, oracle, adobe, jindal steel, tata motors, caterpillar etc companies come for internship which offers various roles like data analytics, software developer, graduate engineer trainee etc with descent stipend

Placement Experience

4

Placement of the college is very impressive almost 90% of the students of the last batch grab the placement offer which a highest of 62LPA and an average of 11 lpa ( approx). Few of the famous company which come for the placement in the college are Microsoft, adobe, jindal steel, adani power, tata steel, vedanta, bajaj, Mahindra, infosys, texas instrument, Oracle, cisco etc. Students onwards 6th semester with no backlog are eligible for the placement

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure of the college is divided into two parts which are tuition fees and semester registration fees. ST, SC, OBC, General , EWS ( whose parents income is less than 1 lakh ) are exempted from the payment of tuition fees which is around 70k per semester and they have to pay only registration fees which is about 6k for even semester and 5.5 k for odd semester. There are also many scholarship are available in the college in which few is alloted by the college on the basis of academic performance while few of them are awarded by government.

Campus Life

3

Campus life inside the college is not too good because of some restrictions. You are not allowed to go outside the hostel after 10:00 PM and if there is emergency then you will have to take permission from the concerned authorities to go outside. There are so many clubs and comittee in the college like Raga ( musical club) , Sanskriti which organises cultural fest, technocracy which organises technical fest and so on.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels are not sufficient in the college only few students are able to get hostels because it is allotted on the basis of academic performance of the students. Meal quality offered by the mess is adjustable but it is better than the outside which is offered at PG and rented house. If you want to get a hostel you will have to fill admission form along with your result and them submit it to concerned department. There are so many PG and rented house which is available nearer to the college with same price as we pay to hostel just few differences are there.

Admission

I choose this college because it has great alumni network and the good placement. The college is in the list of the Institute of national importance. Admission process for this college is very simple you have to just give JEE main examination then you will have to participate in Jossa counselling which allot the college. To be eligible for the jossa you must have 75%marks in class 12th PCM

Faculty

4

Faculty to students ratio of the college is around 1:30.and there is separate batch of same branches are conducted which consists of 60 students in a section. All the faculty are very qualified and well behaved and all of them have their PhD and master's degree in thier respective domain. Exams are conducted regularly and mainly its twice in a semester i.e mid semester and end semester examination but sometimes faculties also organizes surprise test. If you are regularly attended the class then you will definitely pass the exam easily.

Night Life

3

Nightlife in the college campus is not too good there is restriction at night that you are not allowed to go outside the hostels or college campus after 10:00 PM so whatever you want please do before it. Gyms open at 6:00 Pm at evening and closes at 8:00 pm and same timing for the canteen and library.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible to appear for campus placements which starts towards the end of their 7th semester. Companies that visited for Civil Engineering: L&T, Adani, Stratview Research, PlanetSpark and several local firms. The highest packages were offered by Adani (approx 7 LPA) and L&T (6-7 LPA). Around 5-7 students received placement offers from the mentioned companies. It is important to note that a lot many students did not sit for campus placements as they had different career aspirations (government jobs, higher education, business ventures etc.) My plans were to prepare for upcoming competitive government exams as well as try my hand at something different and creative

1. Students from seventt semester and onwards are eligible for the campus placements. 2. There are ample numbers of comapnies visited in our college like schneider electric, bpcl, bhel, bhel, reliance, catterpillar, eil, and so on. As per the last year data around 130 comapnies made in to our campus and they offered around 800 plus offers to various studenst of different departments. 3. The highets package offered this year is 60 lakhs that is offered by DE Shaw and average package is something around 11 laks per annum 4. Taking considerations of students of all departments, almost 70 percent students get placed. 5. Presently my plan after getting degree is to get into a job.

Microtex, HCL, Wipro and many other IT companies gives us research projects and also their work as well. So, we basically have indirectly worked for them and the ones they feel can add more to their organization comes with a clear mind and take us with a package that we expect them to. So, placements are purely on performance as those who perform well are given best of placements.
