- The college is around 133 acres less green campus which is best thing, it also have ganesha temple too.
- The college infrastructure is old but still beautiful and the new library is awesome built past one year back
- The college fest are legendary their are so many clubs which conducts events and fest every month.
Dislikes
- The college placement are becoming worse year by year,the placement was less than 50% for cse branch and overall it was just 40%.
- The college mechanical faculty is not good they show so much of attitude and they are very rude
- The college is strict in terms of attendance exams and the management is not good.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good but it should be updated.The course is little bit more theoratical than pratical. The course should work more on pratical part and real time application.and the teaching methods should be upgraded to technology.the timings of exams are 1hours duration coming to the difficulty exam difficulty depends upon the teacher and subject and the relatively its moderate paper
Placement Experience
The placement scenario is very bad compared to other colleges, it may be due to the irresponsible management and careless,the college has very less placement past 3years the actual placement is around 50% overall.the companies mostly visits are TCS and Accenture,the placement is okay for cse branch and for remaining branch its hell
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee here is 107495 per year for kcet students. The fee here is 2 lakh to 5 lakh per annum for management quota and the comdek fees varies around 2.5lakhs acoording to the branch per year, coming to SNQ quota fees is 35,000 per year and for SC caste its 750 rupees per year, their is SSP scholarship available in our college students who have less than 100000 annual income they can apply.
Campus Life
The annual fest happens everyone to 2 months, not grate computer other colleges. The management dont spend money on all that stuff . Fest are are like halley comet. Comming on to the sports field the college has achieved great success. They conduct annual sports competition and it will be fun. Their are many students who run various clubs
Hostel Facilities
The rooms in the hostels are very isolated and they provide very small rooms with one table one chair and the bed and the meal is not so good but compared to other college it is okay and the menu change every one month and the mail coming specifically breakfast and snacks is good and compared to the lunch and dinner.
Admission
The college location which is Bangalore and the rank I got in kcet exam match this college and college is around so old which make it more experienced college.i also applied for bms, rv college but the cutoff was too high for that college,the admission process is simple only some documents verification would be done and exams like KCET and Comedk and cutoff range till 25,000rank for kcet.
Faculty
The faculty in the sir mvit college is good . They are very supportive,very experienced also help in projects and personal problems.the cse faculty are very good and very supportive compared to all other branch.their are 2 internals exams conducted and 1 final semester end exam conducted in between their are lab externals
Night Life
The nightlife in the college campus is not very good because there are not so many lights present in the college and it is not safe for the girls at the dark. And and the hostel a gate closes at 10:00 p.m. there is no any famous for in our college but they College campus is very big so you can hangout anywhere and the college is safe as guard are present
