Course Curriculum Overview

3

There is a lot of theory and lesser practicals. Theory is outdated syllabus and is not relevent to present day industry. Most of the events take place according to calender of events. The difficulty of exams is moderate.

Internships Opportunities

3

There are many internship oppourtunities for IT students and management related fiels, but very less/no oppourtunities for core branches like aerospace. The projects will be completed by 7th sem and 8th sem will be completely intership based .

Placement Experience

2

Students can sit for placements in their 4th year. They can also get placed through excellent performance in their internships. The ercentage of students placed in 2024 are around 35%. The rest opted higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees i pay is around 94000, and i got admitted through KCET. Other Comedk students pay 2.5lk per year. The college provides scholarship for student who secured highest sgpa in previous sem (Not all branches). Apart from this the college doesn't help in any financial process. They even take fees to provide the marks sheet.

Campus Life

3

The campus is small and doesn't have facilities for sports. There are many clubs and events. There is NSS and also NCC, interested people can join. The library is accessible and contains books and resources needed.

Admission

I had applied for RV College, since i didnt get there i chose BMS thinking they have good placements but there are no good placements here and all the placements and internships are from IT field even for non IT students. The eligibility is cet rankings, the cutoff will be around 10000.

Faculty

2

In aerospace department, the number of teaching faculties are very less. The faculty members are very moody. There will be 3 internals and 1 external (semend) exams. There is no proper communication and harmony. The syllabus is very old and is not relevent to present day industry.

Night Life

3

The hostel curfew timing is 9 pm. The mess food is good. The hostels are good but expensive for indians. The NRI hostel is little less expensive. The surroundings is safe and the library reference section will be open till 9 pm.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is fairly relevant and covers both theoretical and practical concepts needed for academics and basic industry knowledge. Some subjects are updated according to current trends, but adding more industry-oriented projects and practical exposure would make it even better.

Placements in our college are quite decent. Students become eligible from 6th - 7th semester, with companies like Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Accenture and Wipro. The average package is around 7LPA. 75-90% students get placed on campus.
