Likes

I like how culturally rooted our university is
Tho their are various programmes organised on every now and then that can boost social interaction among students.
Also, the girl and boy ratio is almost 1:3, containing 75% female student

Dislikes

Didn't like the lab facilities or the space provided for lab
The building of some departments are too old
Lacks some basic facilities like pad vending machine

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum gives brief idea about every basic subject of 10+2 science stream like physics,chemistry, maths. Also NPTEL course is introduced in our curriculum so that has benefited us with extra certification and experience

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There are 6 semesters in this course (8 semesters from 2023) the fee is around 30k for odd semesters and around 23k for even semester . The fee structure is common for all categories (e.g ST,SC, GEN) . You can avail scholarship from national scholarship portal under various categories but there is an amount set for annual income, below which student can avail the scholarship. For ST category based scholarship, the amount is 11k.

Campus Life

There are so many extracurricular activity clubs in cotton university like drama society, music society, literary society, sport and rock climbing society. Tho there's no adequate playground, which is an important parameter

Admission

I just wanted to take admission in this university because it's convenient from so many aspects. One have to appear in CUET exam to get admission in cotton university UG programme for all departments. The admission procedure maybe offline or online which is informed prior to the admission date

Faculty

There are less faculty members in my opinion, usually the authorities doesn't pay much attention to our department because it is self financed by students. The course syllabus is moderate and you can pass easily if you're an average student

Night Life

The night life is pretty safe as a female student. There are university hostels nearby and food stalls to chill with friends. Also there's nehru park in front of the university, which is an amazing place to chill

As per current trending situation I choose statistics as my department. Our department give us a Microsoft excel course as sec course. In teaching I need the notes should be provided in form of pdf to every student. The timing of exam is good I want to say it's excellent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the course because I dont have so much money to study for btech and all and also I didn't prepare for jee or neet so, the next thing come is mind is bsc that is in botany or zoology as I liked bio more than any other subjects. Yaa by reading botany I can know many things about plant and trees. The improvement that they can do is release a book according to the syllabus by the university and also add few more new teachers such that student can be friendly with them and ask their doubt . For me I think exam timing should be done... Like one before durga puja and one around December . And the difficulty level should be easy .

True aspects on a University

I choosed the college after my 12 th as I didn't want to lose this year at home studying online for any entrance. But fir sure I will be giving entrance fir other better college . But this university where I am studying at is also good if students follow with teachers but the department needs improvement in some areas .
