Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate the course curriculam 4 out of 5 . The course is well structured , in depth topics and industry relevant. Areas of improvement can be more hands on learning that allign with industry needs.
Internships Opportunities
For our batch numerous internship opportunities were shared from 3rd year itself . We also had mass hiring internships and i was also selected similar to placements. Additionally ,during placements also many companies offered internship opportunities alongside job opportunties.
Placement Experience
The placement is quite impressive and better than most of the private engineering colleges in West Bengal. I myself have received two job offers .We still have one semester left yet more than 70% students are placed from our department.
Fees and Financial Aid
Asansol Engineering College offers a competitive fee structure, with my total four year tuition fees accounting to 4.21 lakhs. No the fees are not increasing. Additionally the college provides scholarship opportunities to deserving students.
Campus Life
My overall experience with campus life has been enriching. As a core member of a technical club in my department I have organized multilple events. Other clubs , such as cultural club, and other departmental clubs are also very actuve and providing holistic experience.
Admission
I chose this college over others because of strong reputation, good placement records and infrastructure rand also it in near to my house. I secured admission through the WBJEE counselling process where i ranked 19000.
Faculty
The college has a team of experienced faculty members. The faculty to student ratio in a class is 1:60 and in labs is 1:15. The college has one even and one odd sem for each year including theory , practical exam and internal assessments. The dificulty level is easy to medium.
Night Life
The college gym is well - equipped and accessible providing a great space for fitness enthusiasts. Cafeterias on campus life offers a range of food options . The library has extensive book collections and a good space to study. As for hostel life , i haven't taken up hostel so I don't have firsthand experience.
