Course Curriculum Overview

B.el ed is for persuing teaching as career mainly. The curriculum is relevant as compared to other teacher courses . I always appreciate my decision for choosing this course .the subject or paper are closely related to child that's important to understand for teaching.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for 1st year was 17475.00 and about 18000 in next year with minimal increase yet it is increasing though plus about scholarship there are form but no administration help to fill and you have to seek about it on own as issued by university.And it also get rejected for documents issue so if you want to avail you have to help yourself on own with correct documents and correct timeline to be submitted . Still the fees are affordable

Campus Life

Annual festival are held in clg .the books are not available in this course yet teacher provide readings that are enough.the facilities are excellent.some sport related subject are also included.its a good social circle here

Admission

This college is very good and plus near my house so can attend early classes also . I got miranda college in first attempt but I failed to submit correct documents in admission process.there is cuet exam select subject as pr elegible of course then clg will be alloted .

Faculty

Spm college is top in faculty members. The teachers are excellent in their works. They are good in facilitating study environment and always encourage to other activities and opportunities held in college.the exam of b.el.ed are annual basis and scoring also

Night Life

There is a mall we usually visit near is nsp mall . metro is available one can visit nearby places to metro and also punjabi bagh club road.an iscon is also nearby . Hostel are there in madipur area that will be helpful

Poor infrastructure, average faculty and not-so-happening campus life

Placement Experience:

Students in B.ed course become eligible to take jobs in the last semester i.e 4th semester. The college does not provide any placement in our course instead students themself have to mail and contact different schools to secure a teching job. Average package a student can expect depends on many factors like their subjects, qualifications and skills. On an average one can expect around 6lpa in private sector. For securing jobs in government schools Students have to clear exams like DSSSB etc where average package ranges from 10 -12 lpa. Many of my seniors are doing jobs in private schools as techers while some teach online and have their you tube channels. I am planning to do masters in English literature from DU to increase my knowledge and job opportunities.

Overall College life experience.

Along with Gargi college I chose some North campus colleges too because of high NIRF ranking . Due to high cut-off and belonging from a general category usually students are not able to crack north campus colleges. This is the main reason why competition is high and seats are less of we look at yearly registrations. You need to give CUET right after completing 12th standard in order to get into top ranked colleges. This college is not good enough for upgrading skill and knowledge.

I have applied many college such as IPU and other colleges of DU IPU have very costly and expensive fees structure where in DU have cheap. But DU addmission is based on CUET marks.
