Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum of this college is very good actually like they just don't have normal subjects like chemistry, maths , physics but they also have subjects like green buildings where they will teach u how to create eco-friendly building they also have constitution and english subjects. frequency of exam is quite nice like every month they have cie and at the end they have sem ends exam.

Internships Opportunities

4

There will be a lot of internship opportunities form the second year itself like there wese some students who got internship from the second year only. Companies like amazon, uber, adobe, Infosys etc , comes for intership. I don't know much about the projects but as I have heard from other seniors that you have to make atleast 2 to 3 functional projects to get a good intership in which college will help if you need.

Placement Experience

4

In Placements bmsce is very good like one of the top private college in Bangalore in terms of placements . Average package is around 10 lakh and highest was around 40 lpa. Many companies visited for in campus placements like uber ,amazon, Infosys, adobe etc. around 1k offers were made and around 80 percentage of students were placed and some opted for higher studies also . As far as I know you will be eligible for in campus placements from 6 or 7 sem . I don't have any plans to go for higher studies after getting this degree and if I don't get any in campus placements then I will try to get a job from out campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees is 2,96,000 rs per annum where 2.84 lakh is tution fees and remaining is other fees like lab fees and other charges. Fees for people came from kcet is around 1 lakh per yr. Our college provide scholarship for students from Karnataka.

Campus Life

5

I think campus life is very good in bmsce like they always have some kind of fest or event going on every day. Campus is very lively. Also there are a lot of clubs of every kind like astronomy club, maths club, dance, fashion, f1 racing car making etc. there are 2 major fest happens every yr , which are phase shift and utsav . During this fests the campus will be decorated with lights, there will be many stalls for food, books, clothes etc additionally they also have dj nights during the fests . Infrastructure is pretty good in here like they have everything you need for excelling in sports and studies

Admission

I choose this college over other clg because I have heard many good things about this college like the placements is very nice , all kinds of facilities are also provided here and it was also nr the main city. Compared to other colleges bmsce is far more better because they always have a balance between studies and cocurricular activities. In Other colleges you don't get enough time for other activities while in bms they have made a curriculum so that you will get more time for other activities too. For addmission in our college u have to give either Comedk or kcet or else u have to have to get direct addmission through management quota, but in management u have to give a lot of donation for addmission like 10 to 20 lakh plus fees is also 3 times the fees of Comedk. Cutoff for Comedk CSE branch is around 3k and kcet it's around 4 to 5 thousand and for other branches it might go more . Overall experience is very nice in bmsce . If you are thinking whether you Should take addmission or not I would suggest go for it .

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is actually very nice like they have 1 faculty for every 20 to 25 students. Faculty is very helpful and nice ,if you are not able to understand anything they will teach you again and take extra classes of you want .mrs Sujhatha N is the best faculty in my opinion because she teaches everything very simply and is very helpful. If you have shortage of attendance she will give you attendance. There are 3 cie and 1 see exams where the best of 2 cie will be considered

Night Life

4

Night life is quite nice in bmsce but one thing I don't like is they will not allow you to stay inside the campus after 9.30 but till 9.30 u can stay in campus and chill with your friends or play some games ,But night life around the college is good like there are a lot of things going on nr the campus and it is also safe to roam around at night. After completing the class the students will go to canteen to have some food or will go to the ground to play games like cricket and volleyball. Gym is also there in campus and the timings is like 6 to 8 in morning and 5 to 7 in evening.

Placement Experience:

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities

The highest on campus package this year was around 64 LPA, while as far as I know, the top 20% of the students usually get offers in the 16-24LPA range.
