Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum at IHM lucknow follows as well designed course along with the practical knowledge in all four core departments like Front office,food and beverage, food production and housekeeping as well

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Internships Opportunities

We are give internship opportunities in 2nd year and we get placed at hotels and there we work for four months in all four core departments one month each the average stipend was of 5000 per month and the name of the companies were ITC, Taj, Oberoi etc we get the role of Industrial Trainee

Placement Experience

Placement are offered in the 5th semester from various hotel brands, QSRs, retail brands with on an average package of 4.5 lakhs I’m which the highest package is of 8.4 lakh the percentage of students getting placement is 100% and I’m plan to work in hotels after my graduation

Fees and Financial Aid

Semester 1 - 40000 Semester 2 - 50000 Semester 3 - 50000 Semester 4 - 50000 Semster 5 - 60000 Along with the seat confirmation fees which was approx 20000 and it also provides scholarships and we have other expenses also like uniforms and kits

Campus Life

My overall experience is going very well in all the aspects whether it is in studies or extracurricular activities.....I have gain alot of know and skills. The college also provides facilities of clubs like SEMC,CRT,ART,CKT so currently I’m in SEMC as event head which made me gain knowledge on how to organise any event professionally

Hostel Facilities

In first year we are provided with triple occupancy room and later on in 2nd and 3rd year we are given double or single occupancy room depending upon our academic performance...we are give 3 times of meal breakfast lunch and dinner along with evening tea. Registration process is easy you just need to fill the registration form and give medical certificate and id card photocopy along with it

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

I chose this college because it comes in Top 10 colleges of hotel management in India also it has the top professors for all the subjects as well as it has the biggest campus than any other IHM in india

Faculty

Each year has different faculties and they provide supreme level of knowledge and train us to attain excellent skills to make us expert hoteliers in different departments also....the fail % is very less and marking scheme is just like any other college and the faculty I think the best is Dr.Tarun Bansal sir

Night Life

Night life is pretty good around my campus we have got GYMs, Cafes, shopping malls, markets and parks. Apart from all this the area is of residence area with alot kf society and houses so itself pretty safe to roam around at night

Just an amazing IHM Lucknow

Placement Experience:

From the 5 semester the companies are coming to campus for the recruitment process and the students also getting job and some students get job just after the completion of degree and some before and their are many hotels who visit like taj group of hotels, Oberoi group of hotels, burger King, and many more

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is good . In fourth semester students become eligible for campus placement. The companies visits for our course is the Taj palace, EROS entertainment, crown plaza etc. The offer made to most of the students. The highest package is 18LPA and average pakage is 6LPA. The profiles offered are executive, person in sales, front office etc. Almost 9/10 students get placed in our college. After getting degree I plan to work with a good hotel chain.

My little college

Placement Experience:

In the fifth semester the students become eligible for the campus placement. A lot of companies have visited example IHCL, Oberoi, Hyatt, Hilton, JLL, California Burrito and so on. Every company offered a management training program in their organisation. The highest package offred was of 420000 for a MT program 20 to 30% of students get the placement. To work under a reputated organisation.

After the 5th semester when you clear the exams you are eligible for the campus placement and after that companies come to our college for the recruitment drive and people are getting direct it for that company is which visited were like you can say Devyani international Domino's Leela palace Taj Novotel crown plaza that is under IHG and some other retail companies like the aditya birla, highest package I would say it would be around 10 to 12 lacs or 15 lakh and lowest would be you can say 2-2.5 lkhs students getting placements were around I could say 70% because 30% some didn't want the job and some were not capable for that, my plans like I need a good job and to study further

Placement Experience:

Approx 99% of the students get placements in IHMs. The placement record of IHMs has been tremendous so far. Students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Companies like Oberoi, taj , air India , indigo , dominos, JLL , lemon tree, and much more come for recruitment. The average package is round about 12LPA.

This college was not not my first choice I want to go to ihm bangalore but I didn't get it in first counseling and after in second councelling I got ihm lucknow and when I searched about it was good also it was near to my hometown that's why I choose this college, i didn't got rejection from any college. The admission process starts with the induction round in which those candidates are there who got ranking under 3000 in national exam for hotel management conducted by NCHMCT there is no age limit and the admission process takes only one day and it is in the campus....Read More

My little college

My first preference was this college only and after this The other preferences include IHM Delhi and IHM Mumbai. Since my first preference was this college IHM Lucknow and as soon as I got the confirmation I continued with it. I choose this college because of the popular celebrity chef Ranveer Brar also studied in this college. Since I see him as my mentor I applied for this college. No I did not get a rejection from other colleges since this was the only one college I applied to. To be eligible for taking admission in this college you first need to clear the NCHMCT JEE exam and after the exam you get a rank and based on the cutoff of different colleges you can apply for it. After that it is basic paper work and you can continue your college from there. My rank was 1400 and I was easily able to apply for the college. Even people with 9000 rank are there in this college woth their SC/ST category....Read More
