- The faculties are very nice and supportive and their way of teaching is very nice . faculties here focuses on each student and help them to grow in their career.
- Practical are to be conducted daily which is good for students to learn about industry,theory classes are also run on daily basis which increases knowladege of the student
- College provide exposure to students by making them participate in different events and even there are many events managed by the students which is providing managerial skills in students .
Dislikes
- Food is wasted very much because of practical classes and the food either consumed by the student or else wasted also in cafeteria food wastage is very much
- The casual staff is not good they are casually working ,not by taking responsibility.
- Some areas of college need to be renovated but it is not happening since we are here.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is moderately easy and one can easily clear it by giving some time to it ,I choose this because it is related to our daily lives and help me in both ways ,our curriculum prepares us for real word by providing is opportunities to interact with new people and by providing us internships and many more opportunities in which we interact with famous personalities and learn from them, the areas of improvement can be in the language of the curriculum like in nutrition subject the way of explaining things is little confusing otherwise it is good. The timings of exams are frequent and not very difficult .
Internships Opportunities
There are many famous companies visit in our college all hotels like Taj ,Oberoies Marriot also there are many retail companies arrive for internship they offer a stipend of around 25000 to 30000. The tasks are of main operations and supervision
Placement Experience
Placements are good in our college approx everyone has a job at the end doesn't matter small or big ,if there are no campus placement then we can apply from walking and our college made us prepared for that student are eligible for sitting in campus from their 5th semester,there are many famous companies like ITC , oberoi,IHCL ,ABFRL ,and many more comes every year the average package is 350000 The percentage of students are 90 percent, I want to work in any any reputitive company
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise which I paid was in first semester it was 56000 and similarly it remains nearly same for all semesters other than that we have hostel fees that was around 48000 in my 1 year and 45000 in my second year also there is for each class we are paying approx 700 rupees as tution fees , caution fees is already included in the fee and it is 3000 rupees. This fees is same for all students but there are two types of scholarships offered one is state and other is national schlorship, national schlorship is depend on merit and state scholarship can be availed by all who belongs to that state. And this scholarship amount vary student by student ,one of my batchmate recieved 48000 scholarship for a year .
Campus Life
In our campus there are many extra curricular activities are there where a individual can participate . Even there is a annual fest that is conducted every year that is known as Concordia ,if I talk about the library it is with all type of books related to our course and there are new and old edition are also available whichproved a broad srea to our knowledge. The class rooms are equipped with smart boards but some classes are not not well maintained. There are many indoor like table tennis ,chess and outdoor activies like vollyball ,cricket ,relay race ,tug of war and many more .
Hostel Facilities
I had lived in both hostel and rented pG , if I talk about the hostel it is well facilitated with the basic facilities like electricity water food pest control and many more but the food in the hostel is not good . I any one want to take hostel then he have to fill hostel application form which is available online and offline both .and it is affordable to all .and when I was there in my PG , There also the services are same also the locality was very good and friendly.
Admission
This college was not not my first choice I want to go to ihm bangalore but I didn't get it in first counseling and after in second councelling I got ihm lucknow and when I searched about it was good also it was near to my hometown that's why I choose this college, i didn't got rejection from any college. The admission process starts with the induction round in which those candidates are there who got ranking under 3000 in national exam for hotel management conducted by NCHMCT there is no age limit and the admission process takes only one day and it is in the campus.
Faculty
The faculties are well educated and experienced the faculty to student ratio is 2:3 ,one of our third year faculty mr mukesh sacchan he is food and beverage faculty in our college he is very good in his profession and the way of teaching is very good they belive in having thoroug knowledge about the subject before practicing it . There is no faculty I don't like all the faculties are good in there fields talking about the exams in per semester we have one mid term and the final exam at the end of the semester there are 20 percent students who fail to clear exams,coure curriculum is relevant 5our subjects nothing is out of syllabus .
Interview Experience
We have to go through the written test conducted by NCHMCT in which the subjects are english, reasoning,GK ,Basic math etc. To prepare for this exam you can refer to ncert books from 6th to 10 class otherwise ther are many MCQ books comes in the market to practice and make you prepare for this exam .
Night Life
During evening or night the campus is closed but around the campus there are many places where we can handout also many places are there to keep our self engaged like gym ,sports ground and many more . For hostelites theclosing timing are 8 pm and opens at 5 in the morning.
