No negative in our college.in our college is only positive all students are friends no one enemy. every teachers is good.for the all students.our principal is also good for the students. college security is very strong for the students.

B.com(hons) is best course for the marketing students and financial students because in these course student study those subject which is required in future for the purpose of marketing,banking and financial institution that's why these is best.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, my college provide internship in MNC and small companies and any other company.my experience is not more.but its normal for internship and stipend is not more its only for convenience charges.

Placements and job opportunities is very good from these college.these college placements and job for the students in MNC and more many companies.many students got the job from college and many students got the jobs out from the college.

In our college we celebrate more events and more fest. every society celebrate their event and fest.and the college organised the college fest in which celebraty come and every student enjoy these fest.

Fee structure is normal not expensive or not more low.i think everyone can pay the college fee.these year our college fee is 10,030 /- for one year.i think its not more.and our college fee is pay online through debit or credit card card or net banking

Scholarship is provided our college for the topper students.and sc/obc/st students.and its provide by the DU or govt. These scholarship is most important for the students to help the students in purchasing books etc.

Yes in our college many extracurricular activities.like labs ,sports, dance, singing , etc.on the bases of ECA student take a admission in college and represent our college in any activity for the opposite of the other college.

Hostel Facilities

In our college no hostel. student take a room or PG that's why student pay more charges for the room or PG. that's why i rate the zero of the hostel. I appeal in college make a hostel for students.

Yes alumni network and seniors student and ex students is very helpful for us. because they informed me for the activity or any thing in clg happen seniors student is very helpful for us they like a our elder brother and sister.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is very good.in our college exam structure is very strict form the side of teachers.in the exam no one can cheat from other and everyone is proper there exam.DU also strict for the exam.

Admission

1st i registration in du.2nd du declared the 1st merit list i'e cut off. but my percentage is 72% so that's why i not got the admission in 1st cut off.du declared 2nd,3rd,4th and 5th cut off but im not got admission.after that Du declared 6th cut off these cut off is 70% for b.com(hons) and i have completed my admission in this cut off.

Faculty of our college is best faculty in BA courses B.com and b.com(h) and also eco(h) course the faculty of all those courses is very educated teacher many teachers done PHD and many teachers is very educated. that's why faculty of our college is best

Likes

Affordability in terms of fee structure and degree they don't have huge amount of fee for any particular program.
Market value as its the oldest and known college of delhi university and their new buildings makes it value for money college.

Dislikes

college do not have proper hygiene in terms of classroom and campus

its highly reletive as they claim and mention in their course structure. they overall difficulty level the exam level are also moderate and if its about the areas for improvement they should focus key campus and library area its should be accessable to all

good campus life like cafeteria area, library, and classrooms

could get a bit crowded when both the shifts have classes

The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Shyam Lal College( Morning) Review

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

DU life is better than any other college life

It depends on the merit list and the entrance exam that is CUET. The merit list is declared on the DU website. I searched for it on the collegedunia website and other websites. Application fees for UR-500 Rs. and OTHER-250 Rs. The admission process is quite similar to other colleges of DU. And I chose the BA program, so my eligibility criteria were a 12th pass in any stream.
