Great college

Non-veg is not available inside the campus be it hostel mess or canteens.If you are a non-veg lover you have only option of eating from outside campus Dhabas but it's not that expensive but at the same time it can't be a regular thing.

Course Curriculum for CS/IT is very good as it was reviewed recently and new curriculum is being used starting from 2017 batch.the course is very practical and and doesnt feel like we are learning outdated things.

Placement is very good here.If you belong to CS/IT branch you are almost assured of placement, placement in other branches is also high.Average placement here is quite good.Starting from 2017 batch there is 6th semester totally dedicated to internship.

There are many events organized in college some in college's official calendar while some are not official.Three main events are organized namely Techspardha(technical), Confluence(cultural) and Annual sports meet.

Fee structure is feasible as fee for SC,ST and PWD are 100% waived while for general and obc students fee is divided in three segments,Students with family income more than 5 lakhs have to pay full fees(which is not that high considering private colleges),students with family income between 1 to 5 lakhs get 2/3rd of fee waived and students with family income less tha 1 lakh get full waiver in fees.

I haven't availed any loan or scholorship from college.College does provide prizes to different branch toppers but i don't know of ant scholorships or loan provided by the college itself.But scholorships and loans are available from many different sources easily.

Extracurricular activities are very high here as there are many different clubs and societies dedicated to different activities like dance,acting,singing,management,debating,etc.Labs are good in CS department i don't know much about other branches labs.A big sports ground is inside college campus also badminton,tennis,volleyball,basketball,etc. courts are there in the sports complex.

Hostel infrastructure for 1st year students is not that good as they live in hostel made many years ago.They have to live with 2 other students which is not bad as it's necessary for new students for socialising but sometimes 4 students are accomodated in one room which is too much.Hostels for 2nd year onwards are excellent also new hostels like H-10 and H-11 are a state of art.

I got admitted through JOSAA by the rank acquired by me in jee mains.I got a rank around 3400 in obc category of jee mains and i selected NIT Kurukshetra as one of my higher options and got IT branch in JOSAA seat allocation in round 1 itself but my branch didn't change till 7th round.So i got IT branch.

Faculty in CS department is not that good as some tachers don't seem to know about the subject they are teaching also there is shortage of faculty in the department and most of the faculty are contract based and not permanent.
