Course Curriculum Overview
The rating that I would like to give is (9/10) The course is very relevant including topics like Machine learning, Deep learning, Data SCIENCE ,NLP Programming languages such as Python, C,C++ etc are also taught. The teaching methods opted by the faculty are generic teaching methods as well as seminars and flip classes
Internships Opportunities
CMRIT has its own structured internship cell dedicated to assisting students in securing quality national and international internships. Completion of an internship is must for all students of the college in order to recieve the degree. Internship must span for a minimum of 4 weeks The institution assigns staff members to guide and supervise the students with any regard to academics as well as internships throught the student mentoring program.
Placement Experience
From 5th smester students are eligible for campus placements. Some of the top recruiters are Amazon , Microsoft, Vymo etc. The average package is 10 lakhs and highest package is 44 lakhs per anum so far. Overall 70 percent of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year fees for Management students is around 5 lakhs per year whereas the cet fees is around 1.25 lakhs per year and comedk fees is around 3.1 lakhs per year. Rs 10000 scholarships for students transfering from other cmr institutions 10 percent tution fee waiver off for students with ncc-B certificate Rs 25000 concession for single parents
Campus Life
The name of the annual fest is Cultura and it is usually held in the month of june. The library has a variety of books including books from popular authors. The classrooms are equipped with a projector to show presentations. A wide variety of sports such as cricket, basketball, volleyball, kho ko, table tennis etc are played in the college and have respective college teams for inter college events A lot of clubs both academic related and non academic related are run by the students of cmrit these clubs help the students improve their skills on the particular subject the clubs are on.
Admission
I did not apply to any other colleges because this college was closest to my house so the commutation would be easier and also previously my sister had graduated from this college, this made me choose this college over others. The exams accepted for college admissions are KCET(10k), COMEDK(20k),JEE mains and also through management.
Faculty
The faculties are very approachable and ready to offer their guidance and help anytime and in any way possible. All faculties are very good and friendly. The internal exams are conducted twice per semester and there are lab exams as well. The external exam (i.e VTU EXAM) is once per semester. Most percentage of students can clear the exams easily if they practice previous year papers
Night Life
The campus has its own gym, Cafeteria and library The gym is open in the mornings and evenings The cafetaria opens at 8:00 AM and is open upto 5:00 PM The library on normal days is open upto 8:00 PM and on exam days its open upto 12:00 AM The loaclity is safe to roam around at nights . The campus timings are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
