Likes

Distance learning is good for those who are working, they have to go for exams only and benefit for those students also who wants to do some other degree as well.
Social interactions is good with students .
Affordable course fee for those students who can't afford top colleges

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not so good, washroom was not clean.
Attending class means wasting your time.
Some teachers were rude , no placement service as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

I m from arts background and I preferred B.A program because I like this . In this you get knowledge but not any skills but only benefit is you gain knowledge and you can teach those subjects also .Exam timing was good fo as I needed . You can choose subjects of your choice.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 4000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In, December 2021 fee was - Four thousand forty (4040) per year. In, November 2022 fee was - Three thousand eight hundred seventy five (3875) per year. In, November 2023 fee was - Four thousand three hundred seventy five (4375) per year. Total amount paid for complete course is Twelve thousand two hundred ninety (12,290).

Campus Life

Facilities is not so good and no curricular activities they organise no library provided and rarely you can get study material from campus. No activities, no technical festivals they held . Classroom benches are in ok condition some benches were defective and in summer there was poor condition.

Admission

DU SOL is very good from IGNOU in my opinion as they do fair with students but IGNOU didn't passes Students In lockdown i have seen one of my friend struggling from exams who is studying doing BCA from IGNOU she continuosly giving exams and they fail her in many subjects where du passes students after giving exams, if someone fails they have to re write exam once more only.

Faculty

Faculty is ok because some teachers were rude they don't have manners how to speak to girls student but some are good . When I m studying i have to give four exam in a year and it's very easy to give exams once in a year and exams are not so tough if you were prepared then exams are very easy to give .

Night Life

Campus ground is ok to roam around and was clean also, north campus is located in keshav puram is nice area and near to reach there . Outside college there is no cafeteria or library or something else. No hangouts places outside or inside of this campus.

Truth About Hidden IPCW (DU)

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option

I applied for cuet to enter a regular college but unfortunately I didn't score well and didn't get any regular college which provide BMS as their course but in sol you do not have to apply to cuet you are selected on the basis of your 12th marks and I scored good in 12th so I got enrolled in dusol.
