Remarks
The best part of this university is it's education, as it is also called the "Oxford of the East". There is only one negativity known as student politics but the good news is that from this year University decided to cancle the student elections.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very good. You have a very large variety and combination of subjects to choose. Some course combinations are best suited for academics and some best suited for civil preparation. Also, here you find some professional courses also. There is very large campus for professional studies, in Faculty of Science. There are also separate buildings and courses for law, management.
Placement Experience
There are various placement and job opportunities. Every year renowned company like Tata Consultancy Services visits the campus and offer various jobs to deserving candidates. The stipend is also quite good, varying from 20K to 50K per month.
College Events
The university every year celebrates Fresher's and Farewell party beautifully and also there is convocation program to give honour to brilliant students and also some program like Independence day and Republic day are celebrated with great enthusiasm.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As it is a central university, hence fee structure is very feasible. Excluding professional studies courses, you will have to pay very less for your education and also you get a handful scholarship from the university for your education.

The students which are falls under the criteria of poverty according to government get handful amount of scholarship for their education and daily needs. There are various encouraging quiz and programs arranged by campus for students and give prizes to qualified candidates, which helps them so much.
Campus Life
There are very large and well equipped labs for different types of subject and courses. The extracurricular activities happens through the year to encourage students. There are various sports tournaments like cricket, football, tennis held by University and large number of students takes part.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are average in the sense, some hostels are very good like A.N. Jha, G.N Jha, Hindu hostel, Diamond Jubilee and some hostels like Tarachand and K.P. suffered from lack of important and basic amenities. The food at hostels is quiet good and cheap. Also the hostel's price is reasonable.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is not too good but the senior students are very friendly and they are available to help you always for anything. You got the seniors right through your admissions to help you on various occasions.
Admission
The eligibility criteria for the admission for undergraduate course is to be intermediate passed from a recognised board, then you will have to clear the entrance exam, post which you got admission according to your rank.
Faculty
The faculty is best here. You get some old professors, as effective as old wine. They treat you as your child. There are also some arrogant newcomers, who misguided the students but their number is small. So overall faculty is excellent.
