3

The rooms are really old even we have to install our own internet. The meal quality is not very good but the charges are affordable that is 3900 to 4200 every month. The registration process is really simple and the hostel is really affordable as the hostel fees is 7000 per year and the electricity fee is only 2500 per year.

Admission

The main reason I choose this college is of course the percentile and also this is one of the best Government College in my state and I really wanted to obtain mechanical engineering because core branch over here is really good. We can get admission in this college by jee mains percentile. There is no interview or GD.

Faculty

3

As I said that we don't really go to class often but the faculty and student relationship is good special in lab. Faculties also helps us in getting internships into the core companies. There is no search faculty that I really like or dislike. There are 2 mid sem examination and one main examination the maximum examination is of 10 marks each and the main semester examination is of 70 marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is okay and the basics are covered well, which is one reason I choose this branch, but some subjects feel outdated and not fully connected to real industry work. It prepare us for further studies more than practical jobs. Exams come every semester with internals in between, difficulty is moderate but few papers become tricky. I think more practical topics, updated labs and better teaching methods will make the curriculum more useful...

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.
