Remarks
All the positives have been mentioned and as far as the negatives are concerned, it's distance from the city and the transportation costs are the things affecting the students the most. Apart from that, negatives are present in the attitude of the administration and it's negligible.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum is balanced with more arts subjects than law ones for the first couple of years and it later shifts to more law based subjects with coming years. There are mid semester exams of 40 marks per subject and end semester exam of 80 marks. There is a viva of 30 marks, project works of 40 marks and 10 marks for class performance. In order to be promoted to the next year, you have to attain a minimum of 50% of the total 200 marks, that is 100 marks.
Placement Experience
There are not many in campus placements as such but as there is huge emphasis given on CV and character development, it's not hard to land job after completion of graduation. The internship cell works for providing internship to as much students as possible but most students apply for internships personally.
College Events
There are various events all around the year, both intra University as well as national events. There are intra Moots in order to determine the students who'll represent the college for various national Moots. The college organises Seminars, workshops on various issues as well as national Moots in collaboration with various giants in the field of law. A national level sports fest called Zelus and cultural fest is also organised by the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
A bit slanted towards expensive. Paying almost 2.25 lakhs every year is not everyone's cup of tea. But the quality of education, opportunities, and the quality of living that is provided is equivalent to the fees given. There were some issues regarding food quality but post a protest, it has been improved.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
The college does provide scholarships to students but as I'm quite unaware about it, kindly connect with college to know more about it. There are specialised scholarships for people belonging to reserved categories.
Campus Life
The college has a huge field with cricket /football fields. There is mini football field for 5 a-side games, basketball court, tennis court, volleyball court, badminton court, etc. There is drama society, literary and debating committee and a cultural committee functioning for increasing participation of students in extra curricular activities. The college has won many accolades in various national sports and cultural fests.
Hostel Facilities
To rate the hostel infrastructure on a scale of 1-10,I'll rather rate it 8, cutting few points for the small size of room provided to the freshers and lack of entertainment in the common area with option of only a table tennis setup.
Alumni/Alumna
The college was recently established so not as good network central universities like DU but it has indeed a good and helpful network of seniors who are at your disposal to ask for help. The seniors will get you around college, help you with Moots, help you adjust you to the curriculum and you'll also find alumni of the college at various places where you intern.
Admission
The aspirant has to undertake CLAT and secure the required rank to get admitted to the College. The test is of 200 marks and consists of questions on English, General Knowledge, Legal knowledge, Reasoning and Mathematics.
Faculty
The faculty is well learned but due to lack of innovative methods to teach by the teachers, the classes might get monotonous sometimes. Keeping that aside, you can approach the faculty for any doubts at any point if time.
