Remarks

The college is only good for placements. There is no hangouts place neither there is college life.

Entrance Preview

I took ComedK rank 3500. Placements are good here. Except Placements there is nothing good in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is good. Some of the faculties are good some are average. Overall faculties are average only. Labs are well equipped with instruments but the infrastructure is poor. It seems like we are studying in 18 Century college. The course is affiliated to Vtu.

Internships Opportunities

Yes it provides internship. Mostly students get their internship in 3 year only. Internships are for only CS and IS Students.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are awesome. The Highest Package for 2015 is 22 LPA by Amazon. The average package is also good for CS and IS. Rest of the branches have normal placements. The college has 100% placements for almost all branches. Many good companies come to campus. The Placement team is awesome.

College Events

There are various fests organised in college. The official college fest is just ok not so good. The only interesting thing in fest is DJ Night and Fashion Show. The small fests are department wise like Verve by CS Department and aadhar by telecom department.

The fees is normal.

No scholarship is provided apart from the scholarship which is given by Karnataka State to their students.

Campus Life

Campus life is poor. College consists of students from each part of country. You can find students from every state. There is no as such discrimination between students. They are treated equally. There are lots of extracurricular activities and various sports events.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel fees is also ok. Mess food is bad here also the hostels are not so god here. Cook doesn't know how to make north indian food. Hostel condition is not so good. Old hostels are there like they were built in 18 Century.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful here. They help us whenever we want. Seniors also give parties to juniors frequently.

Exam Structure

Exams are ok as per VTU regulations. Exam is totally based on VTU.

a good college with good atmosphere and placements

Placement Experience:

students can be eligible for placements from 3rd year only, many companies have visited the college like TATA,Accenture and many other.The highest package for this year is about 19 lakhs , average package is about 3 lakhs,talking about the percentage our college has 77% of the college placements, i am planning to pursue higher education after my graduation

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th and 7th semester students are eligible gor campus placements. Students are asked to apply for the campus placements from the career development department of the college according to the marks. Some companies visited are like jspider, qspider, Xworkz, kodnest, Infosys, 3 q sutantra, toyota, triveni,idea infinity,edgeverve, eton ,dfm technology, tata elaxi, enventure and many more. And highest package in 8 to 12 LPA. The students are placed according to the companies requiments min 20 students are placed outof 50 students My plan is to get a good, high paying job after completing my graduation.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.

Sir MVIT - A decent college with great potential to improve.

I had applied through KCET exam and with my rank of around 10000 this college was in match with my rank. Other colleges which I had applied to included msrit, dsce, bmsit, bmsce, rv, etc. I couldn't make it through to these colleges as their cut offs we're higher and i needed a higher rank for my course of choice. Although I would have got selected for a different course like eee, ete, etc. in these above colleges, I gave preference to my course. Admission process was smooth as it was through KCET counselling, once we pay the fees directly through bank account, i just had to visit the college once for the admission process and also pay some extra fees there. KCET would be a better option than comedk or management quota as the fees will be lower....Read More

The admission procedure was really smooth. I got admitted through CET. I had scored 9k rank and got admitted under CET for ECE branch.
