Likes

The evening time of the college gives a different and unique vibe which cannot be achieved in any other college.
The highest placement is 23 lakh which is pretty good according to an evening college.

Dislikes

The sports area is under construction which is not acceptable as someone who is in sports may face difficulty.
No fest the biggest problem is no fest no bollywood songs during any function which is kinda killing that college vibe

Course Curriculum Overview

B.com(hons.) was on my watch list since 11th standard as accounts and busines provide me intrest that's why I have choosen this course. Teaching methods is good and it's just starting so I can't say about advance what would be the experience

Internships Opportunities

The college offers internship in the college itself which is good as I have seen many students appointment in the admini block of the college with the stipend of 5,000-10,000 which is good studying with earning.

Placement Experience

The campus placement starts to begin from 5th Semester but the college provides intership to 3 semester students and it is called the principal college internship scheme which according to me is a great initiative by any principal I have seen. The highest package goes to 23 lakh per annum which is good considering it is a evening college

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fee for B.Com(Hons.) is Rs.15675 which is same for all students whether they are of any category. Tution is justified according to the campus it's decent. Scholarship depends upon the category

Campus Life

Sports and extracurricular activities are present but the sports ground is under construction so it's not possible easily. Where as the library is very accessible and fine is also minimal if you forget a book with you.

Admission

I have applied for all the colleges of North Campus of Delhi university with top colleges in it but due to some less marks in CUET exam i was not able to make it in . The cutoff of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening was 710 marks out of 800 I got this course and college in the second round of allotment and once alloted the further college process was simple.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is 1:60 which is normal for college I guess and approaching the teachers for any doubt is easy. The best faculty according to me is Financial Accounting and Business law dur to benefits they provide to students. Worst faculty is management faculty. Normal class tests are there any final exams per semester which is normal not that hard if you study properly its not a big deal.

Night Life

Gyms are not present but the cafeteria and library are decent and public area like garden it's good to sit with friends over there. Hostel is also not present but the campus timings starts from 2pm and goes till 8 pm on the night. Locality is good as it's South Delhi locality and its quite expensive.

Overall College life experience.

Placement Experience:

After completing 4 semester you are eligible to sit into on-campus placements i.e. after completing your second year. Companies start to arrive in final year or pre final year of you're going for 4 year degree. Big 4 companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC and other companies like accenture, zomato, airtel can be seen in placement season. Average package is 4-5 LPA ranging from college to college and depends individual skill set and practical experience. Highest could go upto 22LPA in our college. Half of the students gets placed during the season but not all. After competition of degree students can pursue various courses like CA, CS or praper for CAT/GMAT.

This college is not good enough for upgrading skill and knowledge.

Placement Experience:

SSNC have a placement cell which provides internship details and also shat company hiring details. 3rd and 4th semester students are eligible for internship Highest average package is approx 12 LPA and average price is approx 5LPA and actually I don't know which company give the highest and to whom.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

I personally preferred an evening college compared to the off campus colleges nd somewhere i feel that my descision was correct. In future I'll be preparing for government examinations so for that matter evening timings are better for me as compared to morning. According to the scores which i got, this is the best college I could get and m very much happy about it. Being in the evening shift i made freinds from the morning shifts as well and at the end i realized that it's all same. Admission in Delhi University is purely merit based of CUET. One can take admission in this college by writing CUET exam and scoring certain marks for it. The application process was long and thorough. Select a cource, fill credentials, write CUET, and score good marks then prepare the preference list rightly and you'll get college based on your marks.
