Course Curriculum Overview

2

According to the syllabus and curriculum it's very backdated... there is no group activity and the interaction between the students is too low... education is more based on books than real life experiments

Fees and Financial Aid

Talking about the course fees....it's affordable but maximum time the medium of teaching is Bengali and those who had english in their school time they may face problems...exams can be written in both bengali and english...faculty is more or less good...Since I was from a convent I face difficulty in connecting with the class.... overall college is good there is no bullying or politics involved....Campus is too small accordingly to me no extracurricular activities....we didn't have a freshers welcome too but the college has great reputation and often praised by the people.

Campus Life

4

Overall campus is too small compared to other colleges....as I mentioned before there are almost no events for education purpose...the college is improving day by day...we have labs, smart classroom, gym etc

Admission

Admission process has changed from this year...it has been centralised...I had applied to 10 colleges and my first preference was Chakdaha college and I got it in the first round..I did not face any rejection from any college since the admission process was centralised...I chose this college because it was near my home and it would save me time and allow to do other things also such as preparing for competitive exams, computer courses and many more.

Faculty

3

I am from the commerce department so I can only tell about this faculty....the teachers in this faculty are very approachable and understanding.... Boys population is more than girls and the total strength of the class is 80... placements for exams are given different colleges.... almost every student pass in the exam...rest they have to give supplement papers in different semester.

Night Life

1

Students of our college comes from very far locations and after college ends they are always in a hurry to catch a train and going home...There are no hangout places near our college... Our college does not have hostel facilities... There are 2 sections- morning and day( morning hours are from 6-11 a.m. and day is from 11 am to 4 p.m

Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average , I chose this course because I wanted to do an honours degree and I'm from commerce background so my first pick was B.Com . They really put efforts to prepare students for well future , as I said earlier some teachers are genuinely very good helpful supporting and good at what they do . Something they need to approve is the 70% attendance criteria, I think they need to understand not every student is just persuing graduation they are doing some other courses or jobs etc so they can't maintain 70% attendance . The frequency of timing is average

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum is Comprehensive, focused equally on Academics and Practical Exposure.. I chose because of that extra year of research I can choose to do in my final year (4th year) of graduation and I'll have an Hons. Degree at the end of 4th year of my college... Practical insights makes sure we are being trained to tackle practical world and academic knowledge ensures we are eligible to apply for further Education.. I will say more focus on Practical Exposure and a little extra focus on Sports May Take This Curriculum to a different level..

Course Curriculum Overview:

• The specific aspects of the curriculum are the subjects including in this course are related to the industry that will help students to build their career in this competitive world and I choose the course as I wanted to pursue a professional course after graduation. • The curriculum prepares us pretty well for real world applications as there are subjects like management that helps students to understand things very clearly and apply it in the real world. • The frequency and timing of exams is perfect and my perspective on the difficulty level is that the exams are not at all difficult.
