The college is overall good nothing bad, but as i said it's very disciplined

The instruments are enough for 15 to 20 pupil per science course, chemistry lab practicals are done everyday, and the curriculum is totally groomed to provide industry specific knowledge to the students, it'll be helpful in future also, industrial visits was not organised.

As the college offers bsc bcom ba msc mcom ma that's why placements are not that good there, you've to take another degree.

Technical, cultural, managemental festivals are barely available here, but all local festivals reunion other things like that are arranged every year, we enjoy a lot.

Yes the alumnus are very good even seniors are very good, they interact with us and help us in our every problem.

Admission

I liked physics from an early age, so I decided to take physics as my life time subject I heard that Chakdah college was greatly disciplined and teachers were great that's why I took this college Admission was just based on hs marks.

3 lectures are done per day on average, their average age is 30 to 40, some are their msc holders and a few are phd holders,. They make us understand very clearly l, we understand well, and the it wasn't that much relevant about industry experience.

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

Days well spent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.
