Affordable College

Likes

The seniors of the college is friendly and helpful.
The teachers help students in solving problems.
The fees of the college is also affordable.

Dislikes

There is no playground on the college premises.
The gatekeeper of the college is rude and arrogant.
The room of the Bengali department is small.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will recommend the students who are interested in political science should admit in Chakdaha College as the professors of our department is very good and helpful. The political science is an interesting subject.

Reality of a Government college

Likes

I liked how professors behave with the students
Discipline is there....no vulgarity is allowed

Dislikes

No activities or grp work and I think it should be more systematic
No freshers welcome we got and the way of teaching it's too back dated

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to the syllabus and curriculum it's very backdated... there is no group activity and the interaction between the students is too low... education is more based on books than real life experiments

Likes

I liked the teachers and professor who help me in my studies
The seniors r too help ful the help with ssubjects and notes
The quality of the infrastructure increase my intrest to went to college more

Dislikes

I personally don't like the union group of college
Cause i m not into any political parties it disturb studies
My personal opinion to remove the union from college

The most of reason i love this subject as it is, my personal favourite is history and otherside my friends influenced me It helps me to improve my gk and as person it helps me in future for any kind of govement exam

College with good environment

Likes

Our department is student friendly, helpful and all classes are held.
Teachers provide study materials and uses different examples, photographs for better understanding
All practical classes are completed on time. Syllabus is also completed on time

Dislikes

Water supply is not provided some time like in toilet and practical rooms.
I think lack of smart classrooms are needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We rely our life on plants.That is the main reason to choose this subject as the plants mysterious and we can't communicate with them. Other than that the course Botany provides the idea of biotechnology also. That is a growing industry.

Life of a student at Chakdaha College

Likes

Professors and Lecturers were very good.Time to time classes and very elaborating class.Easy to learn and precious to gather your knowledge
Very cooperative seniors.No ragging at all.Whole college was against the ragging process. Cultural activities every year happened at college.
Well known college. Tough to get a chance. In and out atmosphere of classes very healthy. Good canteen facilities with varities of food options. Table Tennis, Carrom, Cricket, Foot ball playing options.

Dislikes

Students Politics. Which is suppose not to impose at any educational institutions. There are some forced admission facility,like those are locals they were forced the College authorities to take them admission first,which is not correct.
Above mentioned issue is the main issue.If Govt take the actions against the local students for not doing any type of Forced admission.that will be good.for meritorious students.
Nothing more negetive things.There are some out siders always at college premises unnecessarily. College hostels are not so good at all.

I've choosen Bcom(H),because for any job commerce background is veryzch impressive, specially in Banking,inaurance sectors. Total course was for 3 years and totall 3 exam were there.1st year,2nd year and 3rd year.

My College pro's and cons

Likes

The way of teaching and the discipline are the most fascinating as it is necessary to build a student future and behaviour
Polite and informative behaviour of all non-teaching staff
The best part is their social interaction. They arranged social activities on every occasion like Independence Day or Durga Puja or any regional and national festivals

Dislikes

The library is not acquitted with books for reading and the sitting space was not so good
The rest room was not really good as it was so small and merely only 20 girls could sit

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Geography as my subject in this college because I heard that the faculties were extremely good and also the subject would help to build my career in many fields. As it was a practice-based subject, so the laboratory should be improved, and need to add some more equipment for practical classes.

Likes

Library with proper books and they setup a computer for student's help
Cleanliness everywhere in college and NAAC certified campus
CCTV protectd campus and projectors in every class room

Dislikes

Student politics everywhere, more than education
Not proper drinking water tap, all are broken
Teachers came college daily but they don't present at class, specially in winter (morning section)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Exams are held under kalyani university guidance. Nearest colleges like ranaghat and kalyani's students came to give their exams and chakdaha's student went to ranaghat or kalyani college. Almost in every six monts there is a semester.

Journal of a young fellow.

Likes

The management is very friendly and helpful.Our HOD is very Frank towards us and helps us in our studies and projects.
Our principal maintains our campus very well.
Everyone is well disciplined in our college.The college is a little bit strict but also good at the same time.

Dislikes

Though the campus is maintained very well.Still it is very small compared to other colleges.
Sometimes they overdo on students .Which according to me shouldn't be done.
The student union of the college isn't much active.So they have to be more active in my personal opinion.

Course Curriculum Overview:

No I don't have any specific curriculum activities.I just like math so I took the decision. No It doesn't I inspire myself so I will continue to learn. Teacher's should be a little bit practical about the course they teach us practically or theoretically.But I think they should teach us more than that on an emotional level. The syllabus is tough and we have some 5 months of gap between semesters.So we prepare thoroughly.

Likes

Teachers in the college are good their helpful.
The labs are good and have quite good supply of material
Cleanliness are maintent in the college and is good.

Dislikes

There is no supply of magazine in the library
The fees are high for every admission in the semester
The campus is very small and have no online service.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was good in chemistry and it was passion for me to follow. We have six teacher and three lab assistant for 3 lab and approximately 75 student. Teachers are PhD and Masters on the subject. Teaching method are good. Exam are postpone sometimes but it is quite hard to pass and a quality of question are given.
