My College pro's and cons

I chose Geography as my subject in this college because I heard that the faculties were extremely good and also the subject would help to build my career in many fields. As it was a practice-based subject, so the laboratory should be improved, and need to add some more equipment for practical classes.

I had to pay an admission fee before joining the course and I had to pay every year for 3 years and there was an excursion fee that I paid once during the course. The complete course fee was around ?20000.I received scholarship a scholarship thrice during the course named Bikash Bhaban Scholarship of 10, 280/year for 3 years. They didn't provide any campusing

On campus every year we celebrate freshers to encourage and welcome newcomers as well as a farewell to the students to congratulate them. Apart from these two, Every National Festivals were celebrated. NCC and NSS services are also presented there to promote social and cultural life.

The selection process is entirely based on the marks of the Higher Secondary Examination. After passing Higher Secondary, I filled up a form, and then according to the marks I got selected. There was a reservation also for SC/ST/EWS/PH but I didn't opt for these. Every year I had given two exams one was Half Yearly and another was Final so in total I had given 6 exams and the level of the exams was moderate to hard. I think the admission process must be fast.

The faculties were very humble and their way of teaching must have to appreciate. They were always there to support a student. Not only me, every student in my department had a good interaction with the faculties.
