Assignments will be given and also projects related to real world application will be given to us by the respective faculties. They also give us guidance regarding the career. The exams conducted will be not tough it will be medium level for us. This helps us to score well.

In our college after 5 th semester students will be eligible for campus placement. The companies visited are Amazon,Wipro,cysco, Microsoft,etc and all great companies will visit and offer students. The highest package was 54,00,000 per annum. Average package is 7 lakh per annum. My plan is also to get placed at high package and continue my dream job as software engineer.

I have been paying 59595 rupees as my college fees yearly. it is same every year. Actual fees for every student in our college is 1,31,000 rupees approximately but my fees is less compared to others because I have been selected for snq seats that will be provided to those whose family income is low. This type of seat will be provided to 3 students in our college. Our college will take management fees as 28190 rupees for everyone. In our college sc-st students will get 80% of the college fees as scholarship amount.

BIT is located in the heart of the city with all the required infrastructure facilities like well - furnished digital classrooms, well-equipped laboratories in all the departments and adequate infrastructure for indoor and outdoor games and extra-curricular activities. Hostel is like a family of students from all corners of the country. Students develop a sense of friendship and fellow feeling. They learn the value of discipline, a sense of responsibility; do all the works on their own and thus becoming independent. It will not be an exaggeration to say that hostels in BIT campus provides a room for an all-round development of students besides serving hygienic food.

I have made admission to this college through kcet exam. The criteria is the rank basically that we get in this exam. I preferred this college because I got snq seat in this college in second round. That means college fees will be less for us. This helped me financially also. In 2023 cut off was 5000 rank for OBC 3b category and there will be different for different categories. Overall admission experience was cool since faculties handled was appreciable

In our college faculty to student ratio is 5:10 . In our college faculty are very friendly with students and also strict with students it totally depends on student behaviour. If students are well mannered they will treat them same. I like Girija mam hod of computer science department. She is very supportive and also very much guiding to us regarding career. Since our seniors only said this for the way she supported them for internships. In our college ther will be 3 internals theory exam and they will scale down to 15 marks by taking average of best two and they will give assignment for 10 marks it depends on lectures some will give writing some will give projects or seminar with ppt and report. So total is 25 . Another 25 marks will be given by labs with 2 internals and record. So internals will be provided to 50 marks as total.we write externals theory exams for 100 marks whic will be scaled down to 50 marks. Total for 100 marks will be evaluated and based on this marks sgpa is calculated for each semester and cgpa calculated year wise by taking average of 2sgpa.

BIT is situated at the center of Bengaluru and has a beautiful campus spread over 5.3 acres. It is well connected by road and metro. The campus is very close to K R market, Tippu palace, Gandhi bazar and Basavanagudi - some of the historically important areas in Bengaluru. Campus life is extremely important in students’ life. Culture, art & performances, sports etc. bring out the talents of the students. In view of this, BIT is having dedicated cultural team and well established sports department. Canteen, hostel, hospital, bank with ATM, Xerox center, BIT employees co-operative Society(where students can buy the stationery and text books at discounted price) and parking space are the components of BIT campus. Kuvempu kalakshetra, a multipurpose auditorium with seating capacity of about 800 is also a part of BIT campus. Campus Discipline Wear ID card issued by the college.
