Likes

The crowd of the college is really amazing you will surely get good exposure.
The fests of kirorimal college are whole lit.
The teachers are extremely amazing and very very helpful.

Dislikes

The burden of practical files viva , tests and presentation at the times of semester exam gets overwhelming sometimes..but one will get used to it.
The infrastructure of kirorimal college is quite small in comparison to other colleges.
During the election times seniors become overly sweet and after it no one even says hello if they don't know you.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course of geography honours is whole lit.. There are field visits and the curriculum also includes GIS which is quite pragmatic and amazing and brilliantly intresting. If one will study throughout the semester just a little bit daily semester exams are just piece of cake.

Internships Opportunities

There is the internship cell that is dedicated to get the students internship opportunities and the societies are also a great source of getting internship as when brands collaborate with societies sometimes they offer internships as well

Fees and Financial Aid

we will be paying 17000 for the course of geography honours in kirorimal college after getting into the college after the csas allocation. There are many scholarship one can. Go for.like NSP and scholarships by Reliance foundation. There is no merit as such required for the scholarship anyone can apply for it. The Reliance foundation scholarship conducts a test to allocate the scholarship according to the marks.

Campus Life

The are several clubs and brilliant societies one can get into according to their respective interests. The most famous are ENACTUS,NSS,NCC.and many more.. I myself being a member of 5 societies I can tell that they provide a wholesome experience and are extremely amazing and they are the actual pocket of fun and of exposure and experience.

Admission

I got 758/800 and having geography assignment my first preference at kirorimal i easily got into without any quota. The cutoff for general was 758. Miranda house in north campus is another college that offers the course but being a male kirorimal is the only best choice. However several female classmates of mine preferred kirorimal above Miranda because kirorimal provides more exposure.

Faculty

Faculties are extremely amazing and approachable..one can contact them whenever they feel at discomfort.They help the newbies to get settled to the environment. The faculty to students ratio is 1:28 During each semester internals are there in the mid of semester and thenafter at the end semester exams are there. With a lots of viva presentation and assignments.

Night Life

You can get along with your friends in late night on long walks in the north campus having a cup of sudama ki chai. The campus at night is pretty safe. And peaceful . The safety can. Be assured by the police vans that make rounds of the campus roads at night

Truth About Hidden IPCW (DU)

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option
