Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

When I did my graduation it was (1+1+1) system where every year you have to give the final examination. But now the examination system are changed. Though it's (1+1+1) course but examination are taken semester wise. And the recent curriculum are far more better than the previous.

Placement Experience

0.5

It's not a college for any professional courses. Here students come for their graduation in school subjects therefore there is no placements or job opportunities directly from the college. After completing your graduation in your subject you can apply for masters in a university.

College Events

4

After completing the whole admission process we celebrate freshers to welcome the new commers. And we celebrate independence day, republic day , the birth anniversary of Krishna the founder of the college. Every year we celebrate a cultural event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I can not remember exactly what is the fees structure. But it's very low. A student from very poor family can easily got admission in this college and complete his course with minimum amount of spending.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no such a good scholarship. The central government provide a scholarship around ?8000-13000 for minority students. And the state government provides Swami Vivekananda Merit-Cum-Means scholarship for those students who scored more than 75% in 12th board exam.

Campus Life

3

Every year a sports event held in our college premises during winter season. The labs of the college are very good. Specially physics laboratory and chemistry laboratory. In mathematics laboratory there are around 20 computer.

Alumni/Alumna

I met a few alumni of my college during my college days and the are very humble. And our seniors were very helpful and friendly to us. They helped us when we needed help. I'm very grateful to have those seniors

Admission

After HSC(12th) exam result you have apply online on which subject you want to study. After some days they will publish a merit list based on your 12th results. Then one day they will call you for admission. You have to pay the admission fees and you got an admission.

Faculty

4

When I was a student the faculty in mathematics was very good. But recently I heard that some of the experienced professors leaved the college for another college. The professors of the college are very friendly and they have a quality.

Placement Experience:

The placement statistics are off the charts, with 367 offers being made to 361 students in the recent edition. The student can seat for internshps offered by diffent companies that visit th campus in their pre-final year, while they are eligible to seat for the placements in their final year only. Apart from this there also other restrictions for seating in the placements like Cg should be above 8.5 and there should not have been any disciplinary charges against you, etc. The companies visiting the college also have their own preferences for selecting the students. In 2024-25 the highest CTC is nearly 2.5 crores p.a. offered to a student of CS branch. The EC department getting the most number of offers i.e. 73.

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the theory part of our curriculum isn't much relevant or prepares for real - world applications, only some basic information is what I feel is necessary, although the lab and the practical part prepares us for real - world applications and teaches us a lot of things related to photography, news paper page building, survey report, etc. I believe they should have a better approach and teach more relevant real - world or in demand market skills which'll help the students in the future. Exams are conducted 2 times in a year, once between March - april, and second time between August - September.
