Dumkal college was established on September 21, 1999, with the aim of providing Higher Education to the girl minority with easily accessible education. Located in Murshidabad, West Bengal with affiliation to the University of Kalyani. Science, Commerce, and Arts are the popular streams in which Undergraduate, General, and Honors degree courses are offered.
Admission to the various courses offered such as B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., B.A. is done through candidates’ scores in the qualifying examination. No entrance examinations are conducted for admissions. Our college is very good for all students in different departments.I studies in mathematics Hons bsc. The course is elegible for 12 pass science students. We find application form, application fees, application dates from college and website of college. Reservation avail for catagory students like sc,st, OBC . I think that there is no improvement for this structure.
I did my admission to this college for few reasons. I availed quota for admission. I am OBC-A. Minimum H.S pass and have 60% mark on honours subject and age must be under 25. I was first applied to a cyber cafe for admission and after some days college published a merit list on their website and I decided to take admission to this college. Then I take my online admission and went to the college for my documents verification.
The overall course structure was good. We did not have any labs as my course was more of a theoretical one. However, we were required to do some practical work for the geography subject and we used to enjoy that practical work.
College management is extraordinary. College campus is also good. My college is located in very pleasant location which is also a plus point. Overall everything was somewhat good and college days were filled with fun.
My BA course was an undergraduate course which is of 3 years. The course offered various subjects like Psychology, Anthropology, History, Literature, Political Science, Philosophy, Foreign languages, Foreign Studies, Tourism, Public Relations, Sociology and many more.
Examination are Semester based starting in May and November. Practical exam are held a week or two prior to the the theory paper. There is no any strict routine for reporting to the college but separate departmental routine. The classes usually are comfortable for the students.
BSc computer science Hons is a graduation lesson that has an interval of 3 years and follows the semester system. The course structure is relatively well designed. The lesson involves bunches of practical work. The data are generally chilled. However, except are a little tiring.
The course curriculum of the college is accurate according to the Subjects we are taught. The Course do not pressurise students to study hard and go overboard. The studies are taken step-by-step and the strategy of the teaching is also mentioned.
The course curriculum is fully Focused on the students. There are certain plans, methods and processes developed for the betterment of the students and strategy target so that the students get engaged in the studies.
My course was of 3 years Which is divided into 6 semesters. It was a foundation course for the students who have want to make career in science and research field. The course included various subjects like organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry and physical chemistry
