Kalyani University to Conduct Decentralized Counseling for Admission to MCA Programme on November 18; Check Details Here

University of Kalyani is conducting spot decentralized counseling on November 18, 2024, at 12 pm for admission to Part-I 1st Semester of the MCA program of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering for AY 2024-25. Candidates will be admitted on the spot strictly based on the JECA-2024 rank. Seats available for the general category are 2, ST 2, OBC-A – 1, and EWS – 3.

Important Information

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate or equivalent degree under (10+2+3) pattern in any discipline from a recognized University.
• Having Mathematics as one of the subjects at each level of education is mandatory.
• 60% marks (45% marks for SC/ST candidates) at each level of education is required.
• Candidates without a Computer Science background have to attend an additional bridge course to complete the 2-year MCA degree.

Documents Required

• Admit Card of WB JECA 2024
• Rank Card of WB JECA 2024
• Class-Xth Admit Card / Birth Certificate
• Mark-sheet of Class-10th and 12th Examination
• Mark sheet of all semesters of Bachelor's degree
• Valid SC/ST/PWD/OBC-A(NCL)/OBC-B(NCL)/EWS certificates (if applicable)
• NCL certificate for OBC-A/OBC-B candidates

On the counselling day, selected candidates need to bring all the above-mentioned documents along with the fee of INR 23510 (1st-semester tuition fee of Rs. 20,000/- and additional fees of Rs. 3,510/-). The fee must be paid online through a debit card/credit card or UPI.
