Likes

The teaching methods are very simple and good
The manner in which the syllabus is designed is very good and refined
The library is par with the library of the Delhi High Court.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not updated and old
The management is not friendly and convenient for the students
The marking scheme is not transparent to the public

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is designed very meticulously. The focus is on learning and answering writing. The method of teaching law and writing judgments is very tought in a very good manner. The only drawback is that the curriculum becomes to lengthy. The semester exam are held in every 3-4 months and the level is medium

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 6010 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees is ? 6010. The yearly fees includes tuition fees, library fees and all the other facilities included in the fees itself. An extra exam fees is to be paid about nearly 1000? per semester. A scholarship form is available, an can be availed if the student are from ews or sc/st category or merit based

Campus Life

The campus life is very good . The faculty of paw is in the north campus. And there are many clubs and societies in the faculty. The faculty of law is surrounded by many trees and the greenery is breathtaking. Although the sports facilities are not very good but there is an option for the university gym without any fees

Admission

I choose this institution because of its rich history and great alumni base . The teaching method of this institution is very well thought and also it was closer to my hometown. The other university I applied for was Savitri Bai phule university, which is also a great university. But fas from my hometown

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is good. The teachers are very friendly ,supportive and very knowledgeable. Although there are sometimes delays in appointments of the guest faculty which leads to backlogs in syllabus . The exam are semester based exam in every 3-4 months of 100 marks each. The difficulty level is medium. The marking scheme us however not transparent and hence leading to discrepancies in the results

Interview Experience

There was no group discussion or interview. There's an exam CUET-PG LLB And the difficulty level fir this exam is medium . You need to prepare English, Maths , Reasoning and GK. The exam is of 3 hrs online

Night Life

The night life is good . There are many palces to eat and go out near the campus . The streets are filled with students even after 10 . There anre many cluns and cafes near the campus and the kamla market near the campus is also very good

Delhi University bringing a diverse opportunity.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being very passionate about law it brought me closer towards the subjects i thought I'd never like. It's vast curriculum has made me like a lot of subjects and has also given me a real life applications and further academic achievement however I feel like the curriculum should focus on law subjects from the very beginning and teaching could be improved by further interactive session between students and faculty.

Curriculum in law faculty is based on bare acts and case material provided by faculty itself. Study is totally case based and very comprehensive. I choose law after graduation because I find law very interesting subject and it is very interesting.

Placement Experience:

Placements at VIPS for BBA LLB(Hons) is decent . It is not good as NLUs . That's why if you want to go for corporate , you may go for off campus placements. I plan to do corporate after completing my degree.

Delhi University Law faculty review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very much practical knowledge based and helps the students to grow there legal reasoning which helps them to prosper in the profession. Also it helps them to read and correlate the real time judgements being passed, this curriculum prepares the students to understand the reasoning behind the judgements. Though the curriculum is practical knowledge based it still requires many improvements as these case are old and some of them are even overruled, also the we have to write very long answers which needs to be changed as new methods like ooen text book exams can be adopted to improving.

Teachers help out students at their best capabilities, so far the college experience have been pretty decent, internals are much more difficult and challenging than external exams

I applied to several colleges in Delhi University, both in South and North Campus, but SBSC was my first preference. The main reason was its proximity to my home and the strong reputation it holds, which made it the best fit for me. Since I got my first preference, I did not upgrade or face any rejection.
