Likes

The infrastructure is really fantastic including basketball ground, volleyball ground, lawn tennis ground, cricket ground etc
Various auditoriums including a huge auditorium along eith each auditorium for one school each
The class infrastructure is good along with smart boards and ACs , the library is also really good and a separate library is available for the law students

Dislikes

Its a government college so administration is a little slow

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is really comprehensive including 6-7 subjects in each semester including proper ratio for each bba and llb . The topics under each subject are really relevant and well for the application in the real world. Subjects line moot courts add up to linking the theoretical and practical experience. The timing of exams are around dec and june .

Internships Opportunities

Various internships opportunities are offered by the college placement and internship cell. The student has to send the cv to the placement cell to approve and apply to the internship. The alumnis are also connected with the college and they also offer the internships to the students.

Placement Experience

There are not as such campus placements but the students secure ppos from the law firms. Majority of the students do not go for corporates as the field diversified in judiciary, litigation etc. The placement cell is working hard to bring in companies for hiring.

Fees and Financial Aid

This college is one of the cheapest of all the law schools . Its fees is around 1 lakh per annum . The fees is really affordable in comparison to the private colleges and nlus. It is one of the pros for this college as well. There ate scholarships on means basis but no scholarships on merit basis

Campus Life

The annual fest anugoonj is held for ipu students in the main campus in the month of Feb generally. Major celebrities are invited for the fest. Apart from the annual fest, there are various fests of various schools in the main campus. There are various societies of each school as well as the ggsipu as a whole as well. Sports infrastructure is the best here

Admission

The eligibility is class 12 boards and clat examination. The cutoff for general goes ranging from 200-2500 ranks in clat. The application process is centralized through their admission site and it is 100 percent online and transparent.

Faculty

The faculty are really experienced and kind. They really consider to make students understand the concept. There is a separate teacher for each subject and the teachers change after every semester. Some of the professors send their phd scholars to take some classes but that doesn't impact that much.

Delhi University bringing a diverse opportunity.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being very passionate about law it brought me closer towards the subjects i thought I'd never like. It's vast curriculum has made me like a lot of subjects and has also given me a real life applications and further academic achievement however I feel like the curriculum should focus on law subjects from the very beginning and teaching could be improved by further interactive session between students and faculty.

Placement Experience:

Placements at VIPS for BBA LLB(Hons) is decent . It is not good as NLUs . That's why if you want to go for corporate , you may go for off campus placements. I plan to do corporate after completing my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very much practical knowledge based and helps the students to grow there legal reasoning which helps them to prosper in the profession. Also it helps them to read and correlate the real time judgements being passed, this curriculum prepares the students to understand the reasoning behind the judgements. Though the curriculum is practical knowledge based it still requires many improvements as these case are old and some of them are even overruled, also the we have to write very long answers which needs to be changed as new methods like ooen text book exams can be adopted to improving.

Well I chose this college because it was ranked 13 in the NIRF law rankings 2021, additionally I'm a native so this seemed like a really comfortable option for me. Also, most of the law firms have their head offices in Delhi, you have your Supreme court in Delhi so technically I would have came back here for internships so why not just opt for a college here. USLLS, The delhi college life you aspire in delhi as a law student

For this course you have to qualify your 12th boards with 70% marks and you have to crack CLAT( common law admission test) there is a 75% reservation for delhi domicile students so seats for outside delhi student is 20-25, ideally your rank (for general category) should be AIR 1500-2000, CLAT is conducted once in a year and is a comprehension based paper, the admission process is usually slow it can be improved...Read More

USLLS IS NO 12 LAW COLLEGE IN INDIA

Basically, USLLS took admissions on the basis of clat score and you have to just fill the IPU University form with the application number of your clat exam and there and there is a reservation for Delhi candidates up to 85% so there is less chance for outsiders but if you have good rank in clat you can get uslls like I am outside Delhi candidate and I got that but I choose this over other colleges because of opportunities I will get here as it situated in the center of Delhi and near to NLU Delhi.
