Likes

College campus is quite vast and beautiful
The college is easily accessible through metro, nearest station: Dwarka sector 14 (Blue line)
The social environment is quite nice, also a lot of sports activities to choose from

Dislikes

Lack of parking infrastructure, you have to park in nearby service lane that is already swamped with cars

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum has been updated RECENTLY for the newer batches so you could say it is VERY new. They have started teaching the new acts as well (BNS, BNSS and BSA). The Industrial relation codes 2020 is being taught to us so yeah they pretty much keep updating their syllabus from time to time.

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities can't be summed here, our I&P cell works throughout the year to provide students with different internship opportunities ranging from district courts to esteemed law organisations.

Fees and Financial Aid

Well I am paying 73,000 a year but since they introduced honours course for 2022 batch, the new fees is around 1.5 lakhs. This college provides scholarship for EWS reservation students but only after a detailed check and interviews of the students and their family as well.

Campus Life

I have never actively participated in any club actively but we do have like 8 clubs and other societies as well, they do organise a lot of stuff and honestly there's a lot of engagement from students. We also have our annual fest called Anugoonj that's quite popular, apart from that Holi fest, diwali fest are all organised quite well.

Admission

Well I chose this college because it was ranked 13 in the NIRF law rankings 2021, additionally I'm a native so this seemed like a really comfortable option for me. Also, most of the law firms have their head offices in Delhi, you have your Supreme court in Delhi so technically I would have came back here for internships so why not just opt for a college here. Although placements do seem kinda bad but they're working on it

Faculty

Well a lot of subjects are taught by PHd scholars and guest faculties so there's that but apart from that yeah the existing faculty is quite appreciable and they do teach well. It's totally on your luck what kind of PhD scholar may get assigned to you.

Placement Experience:

It's law houses and prominent lawyers of Delhi who has direct mous with our college. So around 30% of the crowd is that who have PPO and around 30% is that who gets placements through campus. Around 5-6 lakhs is the median of placements for law department at our college.

There are several societies , centres and committees that one can join like cultural committee , centre for social science , moot court society, youth parliament society and many more. The academia centres around integrating legal principles and knowledge into practical everyday problems . As first year students, we are required to go through domains such as contracts, torts , jurisprudence and so on. Further subjects would completely depend on whether you are enrolled in BA LLB or BBA LLB.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is designed according to the blue print laid down by the Bar Council of India. It is comprehensive and includes almost every subject of the Law Degree. USLLS, The delhi college life you aspire in delhi as a law student

For this course you have to qualify your 12th boards with 70% marks and you have to crack CLAT( common law admission test) there is a 75% reservation for delhi domicile students so seats for outside delhi student is 20-25, ideally your rank (for general category) should be AIR 1500-2000, CLAT is conducted once in a year and is a comprehension based paper, the admission process is usually slow it can be improved...Read More

USLLS IS NO 12 LAW COLLEGE IN INDIA

Basically, USLLS took admissions on the basis of clat score and you have to just fill the IPU University form with the application number of your clat exam and there and there is a reservation for Delhi candidates up to 85% so there is less chance for outsiders but if you have good rank in clat you can get uslls like I am outside Delhi candidate and I got that but I choose this over other colleges because of opportunities I will get here as it situated in the center of Delhi and near to NLU Delhi.
