Course Curriculum Overview
Law isn't as tough as the length of the course is. Final years have fewer subjects and electives start taking its way. I am still in second and therefore Arts subjects too are there. As per the years passed at VIPS, the rigorous of studies also starts because our course includes mandatory MUNs and Moot participation as well.
Internships Opportunities
A criminal firms backed by lawyers or Delhi High Court is the one where we have been offered intenrships this break. So from second year onwards rhe university provides us intenrships opportunities which not many colleges provide and students are stranded to find on their own.
Placement Experience
Corporate and corporate firms and litigation and criminal firms which operates in Delhi are the ones which comes for recruitment. The only Law College of IP University that has such law placements as otherwise no other IPU affiliated colleges has placements like ours.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am from Delhi and best always option for Law is VIPS, after NLU Delhi. Fees also not so high as it's 1.5 lakhs a year and just a small exam fees is all we are supposed to pay to study BA LLB at Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, Delhi.
Campus Life
VIPS has three tall buildings and one is law and BCA building as no other courses are there in it. We have auditorium, a moot court a refreshment centre and most importantly a recreational room especially for girls. Our annual fest Initio is also best among all the IPU colleges and we have that in the next month.
Admission
IPU Entrance best college is VIPS, and I had a good score in that. Besides this I gave SLAT, NLAT and CLAT. Couldn't get the best colleges through those and therefore VIPS was the best possible option available for me and I am hende studying here.
Faculty
I think it's high time that we should start giving respect to our faculties. Selfless and beyond words is their commitment and VIPS have inherited faculties who aren't just committed but focussed too. Thus, all our faculties are superb and strong and their teaching is kind too. Mrs Nalini Thakur is my favourite faculties out of all.
Night Life
There are no hostels in our campus and college facilities and gates are closed by 6 pm. So by then we are free and can explore as much of Delhi and nearby places. Khan Market and Old Delhi like the Chandni Chowk and all are my personal favourites.
