Course Curriculum Overview

5

I will only talk about my course BA psych hons here. The course structure and curriculum is well defined. Both the DSCs and DSEs are relevant to the course. There is room for improvement as usual. There is a heavy fixation on social psychology. That should change, and the curriculum should contain a balanced syllabus.

Fees and Financial Aid

I utilised the EWS quota to get admission in Delhi University, and got into Zakir Hussain Delhi College (Morning), and pursue an arts course. The fees changed for each year. In the first year the annual fees was 14000 whereas now in my second year it is 16000. From my experience, I got no relaxation in the fees even though I come from EWS. I paid the same fees as the general category students.

Campus Life

4

The campus is very lively in my college. You can see people everywhere as it is a very small campus with so many students. However as mentioned earlier, the college is lacking in its infrastructure and needs improvement there.

Admission

I only applied for DU. I got admission after giving CUET on the basis of merit. However in DU itself I had applied for multiple colleges and courses. I initially wanted to get enrolled in BSc Anthropology Hons in Hansraj College, but couldnt do so because of lack of seats.

Faculty

4

Firstly I will talk about the faculty of my department. They are one of the best teachers and professors that I have ever met. They are highly experienced and professional, yet we as students do not fear while approaching them. They are very good people.

Night Life

3

I havent really experienced much of a night life in regards to my college except for a. few instances such as fests. I usually leave at around 4 or 5 pm and commute to and from my home so there isnt much to talk about here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The job is quiet for sure after doing this course thats why i chose this course. Ok, so about my course, you have to remember everything that has been taught and it will prepare you for the real world. Teachers have teach with patience and without any partiality. Not like if one of the student ask something and they made a face lowering his comfidence about the ask question. We are studying in another and not our birth langauge they need to understand it while teaching. The frequency of the exams are semester exams, they are conducted at the end semester. And about their diffculty is average. Sometimes Some are easy and most of time they are not.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My friends suggested me to join this college based on their experiences and I chose the subject by myself as I had arts in 12th class ad was interested in economics. The curriculum gives a detailed aspect of many topics which helps in government exams. The areas of improvements would be the increased use od technology, better infrastructure faciliities for the students, and proper guidance related to its career options which encourage the students to pursue the course. The exams were conducted twice a year which was pretty good.
