Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is well designed to prepare one from modern day market needs, The course ensures that it it is upto date, such that any student preparing for Gate or other competitive exams can go with normal course structure and get good grades without needing to study beyond .
Internships Opportunities
The internships are available in a lot of private. And goverment institutions. The private ones include Amdocs, Barclays and many more. The goverment ones include Delnet, CDAC delhi, Delhi metro and many more. Many opportunities are present here at JNU.
Placement Experience
The placement here is great with average at 14 lpa and vast course options for masters in different fields is also a great addition. Placement is at 91 percent, even during such distressed economic conditions.
Fees and Financial Aid
Many scholarship for selected states including Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka. These scholarships value range from a lakh rupees per year to complete tuition fees for the recipient student. The student is selected based on grades.
Campus Life
There are a lot of clubs in the college ranging from environment club, quiz club, sports club, coding oriented club, drone club associated with CDAC delhi. Annual events take place lasting for a week that includes events from all clubs taking place in the month of March
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities available are great, the menu prepared is by discussion with students resulting in inclusive menu. Quality of food is good with even better than a few cafeterias in the campus. The bill is also very reasonable.
Admission
I chose this college because of its NIRF ranking, prime location and the name it carries along with it I got here based on my jee mains rank with cut off as high as 97 percentile for computer science and 96 for ece branch.
Faculty
The exams here are well structured. With 50 percent weightage of end semester exam, 25 percent weightage of mid semester exam and rest 25 is decided by the teacher. This 25 includes attendance, class performances, lab assignment, classwork and other aspects related to subject.
Night Life
Gym is available 24/7. Cafeteria provide food as early as 6 in the morning to as late as 3:30 in the morning of the next day. There is no time boundation as to when to enter or exit the campus Most common hangout places include ganga dhabha,PSR rocks ,JNU caves and many more.
